Counselling: XAT 2023

The score on the XAT(Xavier Aptitude Test) and the student’s academic record are used to decide who gets into XLRI. Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) are part of the process for getting into XLRI. They take place in February in Delhi, Kolkata, Jamshedpur, and Bangalore. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, only PI has been done online since 2020. But the process for getting into XLRI in 2023 is likely to be done the old way, with a face-to-face interview.

The first step in getting into XLRI is signing up for the XAT exam. Candidates who pass the XAT exam and meet the admissions cut-off must fill out an online form to show that they want to take part in the GD/PI part of the XLRI selection process. The admissions committee looks at a candidate’s academic profile to decide who to shortlist. Those who made the shortlist are asked to take part in the GD/PI round. Those who pass the GD/PI round are given final admission. The application period for the XAT(Xavier Aptitude Test) 2023 started on August 10 and will end on November 30, 2022. The XAT(Xavier Aptitude Test) will be given on January 8, and the results will be released on January 31, 2023. In February 2023, the shortlist for XLRI will be made.

Key Points About the XLRI Admissions Process for 2023

  • Over 1,000 MBA programs in India will let you in if you have a good XAT score.
  • XLRI chooses people for GD-PI based on their XAT percentile and a minimum XAT cut-off for the next MBA/PGDM class.
  • Those who pass the XAT exam can apply separately to management schools that accept the XAT score.
  • On the official website, those who have been shortlisted must fill out a form to book a PI slot. After that, they are called for interviews.
  • Those who don’t update or reserve their time slot in time won’t be called in for the interview.
  • For HRM and BM programs, the XAT cut-off ranges from 90 to 95 percentile.
