XAT Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who want to get into MBA/PGDM programs at XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test) colleges, such as XLRI-Jamshedpur, XAMI members, and more than 700 B-Schools, must meet the XAT eligibility criteria. Before preparing for and applying for the XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test) 2023, students must make sure they meet the eligibility requirements and other academic requirements. The XAT eligibility criteria for 2023 include academic qualifications, such as a bachelor’s degree, age limits, the number of times you can take the test, and the documents you can use to take the test.

In the first week of January 2023, the XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test) will be given. Computer-based tests (CBT) will be used for the exam, which will be held in 73 cities across India. The process to sign up for the XAT 2023 starts on August 10, 2022.

Criteria for Taking the XAT in 2023

For admission to all XAMI member colleges and other B-schools that accept XAT scores in 2023, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Candidates must have a three-year bachelor’s degree or the equivalent from a well-known university in any field.
  • You can also take the XAT exam if you are in your final year of a bachelor’s degree program or are waiting for your results.
  • The bachelor’s degree certificate and mark sheet must be given by the end of the admission year, even if the candidate is still taking final exams or waiting for results.

Age Limit for XAT 2023

There is no limit on how old you can be to take the XAT, so anyone of any age can apply. The XAT exam is open to both recent college graduates and people who already have jobs.

How to Get into XLRI Courses with XAT

Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree or something equivalent that took three years and came from a university recognised by the Central or State legislature or an institute approved by AICTE.

If a candidate is in their last year of school, their last test should be over by June 10, 2023.

General Management

To get into XLRI’s General Management Program, applicants must have a three-year bachelor’s degree in any field from a recognised university in India or abroad.

After getting their bachelor’s degree, candidates should have a full-time job.

As of March 31, 2022, candidates must have at least five years of significant management experience in a public, private, or non-governmental organisation.

GMAT scores determine who can get into courses at XLRI.

All NRI and foreign applicants to XLRI courses and other B-schools with which it is affiliated will only be accepted based on their GMAT scores. Scores on the GMAT are only valid if they were given between December 1, 2017, and December 31, 2022.

But people who apply with GMAT scores must also sign up for XAT 2023, as it is a required step in the admissions process.

Indians who want to get into XLRI can only apply for the General Management program. NRIs and people from other countries can apply for General Management, Business Management, and Human Resource Management.
