Why Should You Take a XAT Mock Test?

The XAT practise test is an important part of getting ready for the exam. In order to prepare for the XAT, most people need to take at least 25–30 practise tests. The best time to start XAT practise tests is in the last part of studying (October-December).

The XAT exam is more difficult than other MBA entrance exams, so candidates need to study for it while keeping all of its parts in mind. Also, since meeting the sectional cut-offs is a big part of getting a good score on the XAT exam, those who want to take it shouldn’t skip any topics. A mock test is the best way to see how well you know the material on the XAT syllabus. It is a good way to prepare for the real test. It also helps you learn how to deal with the stress of a timed test and how to use your knowledge to solve Math questions in QA and DI and Verbal and Logical Reasoning puzzles.

Key Benefits of XAT Mock Tests

Here are some of the most important benefits of taking XAT mock tests:

The XAT mock test will help you figure out your strengths and weaknesses in relation to the XAT curriculum. Then, candidates can change how they prepare for the XAT to focus more on their weak spots.

The mock test will help candidates understand the Xavier Aptitude Test exam’s format, structure, question distribution, and the level of difficulty of questions that have been asked in the past.

By taking mock tests, candidates can gain confidence in their ability to answer hard questions and learn how to handle stress during the real exam.

By taking a variety of XAT practise tests, candidates will see all kinds of questions—hard, easy, long, tricky, etc.—so that no question on the real exam will be a surprise.

Since the XAT has points that can be taken away, it is very important to choose the right questions. Candidates can learn how to choose which questions to answer and which ones to skip by taking practise tests.

Frequently Asked Questions About XAT Mock Tests:

Q. Does XLRI offer real XAT practice tests?

Ans. Yes, XLRI gives real XAT practice tests a few days before the real test. It can only be used by people who have signed up to take the exam.

Q. When should I begin taking XAT practice tests?

Ans. Aspirants should start taking XAT practice tests as soon as they finish the course material. From October to December is the best time to do XAT mock tests. Don’t take practice tests before you know everything on the syllabus.

Q. Is the mock XAT test the same as the real one?

Ans. Yes, mock tests are the same as the real XAT exam. This is so that candidates can get used to the exam format, the way the questions are laid out, and how to handle the pressure of an exam.

Q. How many practice tests do I need to take to get a score above 99th percentile on the XAT?

Ans. Experts say that to get a good score on the Xavier Aptitude Test, candidates should take at least 30-35 mock tests. They must also look at how they did on each practice test and learn something from it that will help them do better on the real test.

Q. What’s the point of taking sectional practice tests?

Ans. By taking sectional mock tests, candidates can learn how to manage their time so that they can finish Part 1 of the XAT question paper in 165 minutes and Part 2 in 15 minutes (25 minutes with Essay Writing).

Q. Do MBA prep schools offer XAT practice tests?

Ans. Yes, MBA prep schools give their students XAT practice tests. People who have signed up for a coaching program or an online program are given a series of mock tests. Candidates can also buy a series of practice tests instead of taking coaching classes.

Q. Does XAT mock test have time limit?

Ans. The XAT practice test is three hours and ten minutes long, and each section has the same amount of time. VA, QA, and Decision Making have a total time limit of 165 minutes, and GK and Essay Writing have a time limit of 25 minutes. But the time limit for the sectional mock test might be different.

Q. Does the XAT practice test have the answers to all of the questions?

Ans. Yes, all of the questions on XAT practice tests have answers so that the candidate can figure out their score and percentile and judge how well they did.

Q. How many XAT practice tests should I do each day?

Ans. Candidates can’t take more than one practice XAT test per day. They should take a practice test and then look at how they did on it the same day. They should then spend time working on their weak spots.

Q. Does doing a mock test paper the day before the XAT test help in any way?

Ans. Doing a mock test paper the day before the XAT exam won’t help you, and it might even hurt your confidence. Instead, candidates should use their time to review important topics and formulas.

Q. Is it enough to take mock tests to pass the XAT?

Ans. Practicing mock tests is not enough to pass the XAT test. All of the concepts and topics on the XAT syllabus must be well understood by the candidates. If they do mock tests without going over the course material, they won’t be able to answer any questions.
