XAT(Xavier Aptitude Test) 2023 question paper will have 100 questions in MCQ format.

Analysis of the XAT 2023: Sectional Weightage

XAT 2022 Analysis
Analysis of the XAT 2022 shows that the test was easier than the CAT 2021. Some students found it hard when Essay Writing was brought back, but the test was doable overall. The Decision Making and Verbal Ability parts were easy to do, but the Quantitative Aptitude part was a little harder than the others because some of the questions were longer. The GK part was also about average.
On January 2, the XAT test was given online at different test centres from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Experts and people who took the test said that the level of difficulty was between moderate and high.

Q. What is the level of difficulty of the XAT?
Ans. XAT is one of the harder tests to get into an MBA program. Most of the time, the level of difficulty of the XAT question paper is between moderate and high. The XAT question paper for 2023 will also be about the same level of difficulty.
Q. How do you know if you did well on the XAT?
Ans. A good XAT score is between 70 and 80% correct answers out of 100 questions, which is about 70 to 75 questions. For a good score, test-takers should try to answer at least 2/3 of the questions in each section.
Q. Which part of the XAT is the hardest to do well on?
Ans. All of the sections of the XAT(Xavier Aptitude Test) are moderately hard to hard, but the Decision Making section is often the most difficult because the questions are about business decisions and ethical dilemmas that need to be answered with deep logic and thought. But the QA-DI section can also be hard and take a long time.
Q. How much time is given to the section “Decision Making”?
Ans. You can take as long as you need to finish the XAT Decision-Making section. The first part of the XAT, which includes the Decision Making, Math, and Language sections, has a time limit of 165 minutes. Based on their strengths and weaknesses, candidates must divide their time between these three parts.
Q. How do you give points on the XAT 2023 exam?
Ans. The XAT marking scheme for 2023 is the same as it has been in the past. You get one point for a correct answer and -0.25 points for a wrong answer. For every eight times in a row that you don’t try, you lose 0.10 points. There are no points taken away in the GK section.
Q. What kinds of reading passages do you have to understand on the XAT?
Ans. Most of the questions on the XAT reading comprehension test are based on making inferences. They usually come from fields like philosophy, psychology, astronomy, history, art and culture, sociology, and literature. In the past few years, XAT passages have been written as poems.
Q. How many questions are on the XAT, and how are they broken up?
Ans. There are 100 questions on the XAT as a whole. There are 21 questions in the Decision Making section, 26 questions in the Verbal and Logical Ability section, 28 questions in the Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation section, and 25 questions in the General Knowledge section.
Q. Has the XAT exam changed in any way this year?
Ans. This year, there are no changes to the way the XAT test is set up. In fact, despite the COVID-19 pandemic in the last two years, XLRI has not changed the length of time or the time of the exam, which is different from other MBA entrance exams. But the institute has changed the time of the exam this year. From 2:00 to 5:15, XAT 2023 will take place.
Q. Does it matter if you meet the sectional cutoff in each part of the XAT?
Ans. Yes, in order to get a good overall score and percentile on the XAT, you have to meet sectional cut-offs in each section. Also, XLRI and other top schools look at sectional scores when deciding who to let in.
Q. How do you figure out the XAT percentile?
Ans. A candidate’s percentile is their rank compared to the other people who took the test. All of the test-takers raw scores are put in order from highest to lowest. Each candidate’s rank is then divided by the total number of candidates and multiplied by 100. So, let’s say that 10,000 people took the test and your rank is 200.
Then, your XAT percentile is 10,000-200 (9,800)/10,000 x 100 = 98 percentile.
Q. How hard are GK questions to answer? Can it be fixed in the next ten minutes?

In the General Knowledge section of the XAT 2022, you had 10 minutes to answer all 25 questions. There were hard questions about current events and general knowledge that didn’t change.
