CMAT Overview 2023

The NTA will give the CMAT test in 2023 in the last week of March or the first week of April. Most likely, the dates and times for registering for the CMAT in 2023 will be announced in February. Before, the CMAT test was given in January or February. The CMAT 2022, on the other hand, was in April, and registration began in February.

MBA applicants can pay INR 2,000 to register and fill out the CMAT application form 2023 online at the NTA website (INR 1,000 for women and reserved category students). The CMAT exam will be given at designated exam centres in more than 100 cities in India.

CMAT has 400 points altogether. The CMAT is given as a Computer-Based Test (CBT), and it takes three hours to finish.

Eligibility Criteria

Before sending CMAT Application Form, candidates need to make sure they meet the following requirements:

The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree or something similar from a well-known university.
Students in their last year of school can also apply for CMAT 2023, but they will need to show proof of passing at the time of admission.
For the CMAT, there is no minimum score percentage needed to pass.

Exam Centers

The CMAT exam will be given in 2023 in 124 cities across India. Those who want to take the CMAT in 2023 can choose up to four cities from the list, depending on where they want to go. When candidates fill out the CMAT application form, they will be able to choose the city where they want to take the test. Each candidate can choose one of four cities to take the test in.

Exam Pattern

The CMAT is an online test with 100 questions about Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, and Language Comprehension. CMAT Syllabus

The CMAT’s curriculum is the same as that of other MBA entrance exams. It covers Verbal Ability, Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and General Knowledge. Innovation and Entrepreneurship is a subjects that you can choose to take instead of these.

The best way to start studying for the CMAT is to start with the hardest topics. Once they’re done with the hard stuff, they should move on to the easier stuff. But the key is not to avoid easy topics in favor of hard ones. Don’t forget to study the things about which the most questions are asked.

Result: CMAT

The CMAT result for 2023 will be posted on the website. Using their login IDs, candidates can get a copy of their CMAT result cum scorecard. The NTA will also put out the merit list and all India ranks along with the results.

Counselling

Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI), which are both parts of the CMAT counselling or admissions process, are run by B-Schools on their own. Colleges that accept the CMAT shortlist candidates for the GD-PI round based on how well they did on the test. Over 1,300 B-schools in India will let you in if you have a CMAT score for your MBA or PGDM.

Previous Year Question Paper

Language Comprehension, Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, General Awareness, and Innovation and Entrepreneurship are the five parts of the CMAT Question Paper for 2023. The CMAT question paper has 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), with 20 MCQs from each section. In CMAT 2023, you have to take all five sections. There is no optional section. The CMAT test in 2022 was easy to moderately hard. This year, each of the five sections of the CMAT 2022 question paper had 20 questions. About 60–70 questions are a good number to try. The English and LR parts were simple, but the GK part was hard. The section on quantitative techniques was not too hard, and the new section on innovation and entrepreneurship was easy.

A week before the results are announced, the NTA puts the CMAT answer key on the website for the test. The CMAT answer key is made up of the CMAT question paper and each person’s answer sheet. You can also challenge the official answer key through the NTA. Under this rule, any candidate can challenge the official answer key by filling out an online form and providing proof to back up their claim. If it turns out that the claim is true, the CMAT answer key will be changed. After the objections are looked at, the CMAT result and final answer key will be made.

Paper Analysis

On the day of the test, CMAT 2023 Paper Analysis will be available. The CMAT exam analysis will go into detail about how hard each section was, what kinds of questions were asked, what they were about, how many good attempts you had, and what the expected cutoffs were. Most of the time, the CMAT question paper is moderately hard and easier than other MBA entrance exams.
