Eligibility Criteria: CMAT 2023
Graduation is the main requirement for taking the CMAT. You don’t need to get a certain score to apply. The CMAT eligibility criteria are the requirements that applicants must meet in order to take the MBA entrance exam. All AICTE-approved B-schools that offer admission to MBA or PGDM courses based on CMAT scores look at the eligibility requirements set by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT). Criteria for getting the CMAT in 2023
Those who want to run must live in India.
Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree or the equivalent from an AICTE-approved institute or university that is at least three years long.
Candidates in their last year of a bachelor’s degree can also apply for the CMAT exam, as long as their results will be out before the school year starts.
On the CMAT, there is no minimum score.
There is no limit on how old you have to be to apply for and take the CMAT exam.
Criteria for CMAT Reservations in 2023
There is no reservation policy for the CMAT exam, but B-schools that accept CMAT scores will use the reservation rules set by the Government of India for admissions. On the CMAT application form, candidates must write down their reservation status (caste/PwD category) in order to get the benefits of reservation at the time of admission.

CMAT Reservation for People with Disabilities:
People with a listed disability that affects them at least 40% can get in under the PwD category. The list of PwD’s disabilities includes:
- Lack of sight and blindness
- Hard of hearing and deaf
- Mobility problems include people with cerebral palsy, leprosy that has been cured, dwarfism, acid burn victims, and muscular dystrophy.
- Autism, intellectual disability, specified learning disability, mental illness, and people with multiple disabilities from (1) to (4) are all “specified disabilities” in the RPwD Act of 2016.
On the CMAT application form, candidates can only change their category up until the deadline for applications. After that, there won’t be any more changes.
Scribe/Reader Eligibility for CMAT:
Candidates with blindness, locomotor disability (both arms affected BA), or cerebral palsy can use a scribe, reader, or lab assistant on the day of the CMAT exam. Before January 21, 2023, these candidates must send a written request for a Scribe/Reader to the CMAT Test Centre Superintendent along with a disability certificate from an authorized Medical Officer.
The CMAT Test Centre Superintendent will give the candidate a scribe/reader who is at least one year younger than them in school.
Candidates who want a scribe/reader can ask the Centre Superintendent to meet with their assigned scribe a day before the exam to make sure they are qualified and know them well.
Those who use a scribe or reader will get an extra 60 minutes on top of the CMAT test time.
