Candidates who meet the requirements may be admitted to more than 800 business schools that accept the MAT.

The MAT exam is offered in three different formats: paper-based (PBT), computer-based (CBT), and remotely proctored (IBT). According to their preferences, candidates can select any mode in which to take the exam. All three exam formats share the same fees, exam format, and syllabus; however, the dates for admit card download and exams vary.

MAT Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for the MAT entrance exam, candidates need to pay attention to the MAT eligibility criteria. To be able to take the exam, you must meet the following requirements:

Qualification: Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in any field.

Age Limit: There is no set limit on how old you can be to take the MAT.

Taking the final exam: Candidates who are taking the final exam can also apply.

Number of Attempts: There is no limit on how many times you can take the MAT exam.

Application Form

Candidates can read about some of the steps they need to take to fill out the MAT 2023 application form:

Candidates can only sign up for the exam online. Candidates can’t apply in any other way.
Registration for MAT 2023 has begun as of December 28, 2022. After filling out the application, the candidate must make sure that the form is sent through the online process.
Candidates must upload a scanned copy of their photo and signature that is the size of a passport photo. Make sure to upload all the necessary information in the format that has been given.
The last day to send in an application form is February 15 (PBT), February 21 (CBT), and February 27. (CBT-2).
The application fee must be paid online using a debit card, credit card, or net banking.
Take a printout of the application form and the payment receipt in case you need them in the future.

MAT Admit Card

The MAT admit card will be available online on February 15 (PBT), February 24 (CBT), and March 2 (CBT-2). To download the admit card, a candidate must have the form number, a valid email address, and their date of birth. To get the admit card, you will need all of these important details.

If the candidate doesn’t have a valid admit card, they won’t be able to get into the test room. The candidate’s name, exam location, roll number, exam date, and time are all written on the MAT admit card. The admit card will tell you everything you need to know about the exam room.

MAT Exam Centers

For the PBT exam, there are MAT Exam Centers in 39 cities, and for the CBT exam, there are MAT Exam Centers in 27 cities. MAT Exam Pattern

MAT Syllabus

Here is what you need to know for the MAT 2023 entrance exam syllabus:

Data Analysis and Sufficiency: Data tables, data charts, bar diagrams, and charts like simple, stacked, and composite bar charts, pie charts, graphs, data analysis, data comparison, Venn diagrams, and data sufficiency.

Indian and Global Environment: Business and Economics, Current GK, Basic on reading newspapers and magazines, Rupee Devaluation and Rupee Appreciation, Business, National and International Events.

Mathematical skills: Arithmetic, interest, speed, time and distance, time and work, averages, number system, mixture and addition, unitary method, commercial math, permutation and combination, ratio and proportion, number system, elementary math, etc.

Intelligence and Critical Reasoning: Fact interference, passage, conclusion, analogy, statement argument, clocks, calendars, binary logic, premise, conclusion, linear and matrix arrangement, team formation, cubs, rows, network diagrams, quantitative reasoning, Puzzles, Logical Reasoning, and critical reasoning.

English: Reading comprehension, synonyms, proverbs, sentence correction, antonyms, and punctuation, among other things.

MAT Result

The MAT Result 2023 will be available online in the month of March 2023. The results will be posted on the AIMA website for PBT, CBT, and IBT modes. All of the people who took the MAT 2023 exam can look at their scorecards.

For both ways, candidates can get their MAT scorecards by entering their application number and roll number. The scorecard for the MAT exam in 2023 will be valid for one year from the date the candidate chose for the exam.

MAT Counselling

Counselling for the MAT in 2023 will be done by the participating institutes since AIMA doesn’t do any MAT counselling. After the results are announced, the MAT counselling process will start, and then there will be a group discussion and a personal interview.
