MAT Counselling
Over 800 B-Schools in India will let you in if you have a good MAT score. The MAT score is used by the colleges that are taking part to decide who to let in.
On the MAT application form, there is a list of institutes that are part of the MAT. Candidates can choose five institutes from this list. As soon as the MAT test results are out, these colleges send out invitations for WAT/GD/PI or admission.
Candidates can take the MAT exam to get into some of India’s most popular business schools. The MAT exam is given over the course of a year, in about four phases. Candidates can choose when to take the test based on their schedules and the college they want to go to. Admissions for MAT 2023 are in February, March, May, and June. Exam results for the September phase will start coming out in February.
MAT Selection Process and Institutes That Are Taking Part
- When filling out the MAT application form, candidates must choose five MBA schools they want to attend.
- Colleges that accept MAT scores will let MBA applicants in if their MAT scores are high enough.
- The admission committees of the participating institutes set the criteria for which students will be chosen.
- Group Discussion (GD), Personal Interview (PI), and Written Ability Test (WAT) are all parts of the MAT selection process. Each institute runs its own GD, PI, and WAT.
- AIMA has nothing to do with who gets into MBA programs through MAT.
- If a student doesn’t meet the MAT cut-off or MAT selection criteria, the school they want to go to might not call them.
- Some of the colleges that take MAT admit students based only on their scores on the test. They don’t do WAT/GD-PI.
