On January 31, 2023, the XAT result will be made public. Candidates will be able to check their XAT results on the official website of XAT or XLRI, Jamshedpur, using their login information. The scorecard will only be given to candidates who took the test.
After the XAT results 2023 are announced, admission cutoffs will be made public, and the shortlisting process for the XLRI MBA-HRM and MBA-BM programs will start.
On January 8, 2023, the XAT will be given. Candidates who get good scores on the XAT in 2023 will be able to apply for MBA/PGDM programs at XLRI, Jamshedpur, associate institutes, and over 1,000 other B-Schools in India that accept XAT scores for admission. How Can I Check XAT Result 2023 and Download the Scorecard?
The only place to get the XAT result and scorecard is from the official website. No paper copies of the scorecard will be sent through the mail. Candidates must follow the steps below to find out their XAT score in 2023:
- Visit xatonline.in to find out more about XAT 2023.
- Click on the “Scorecard” button.
- Type in your XAT ID and password.
- Type in the security code
- Click on Candidate Scorecard and save the scorecard to your computer.
- The XAT scorecards will only be available online for a short time, so candidates must download them before the deadline.

How to figure out your XAT score?
The raw scores from each section are used to figure out each candidate’s XAT score. For each correct answer, you get one point, and for each wrong answer, you lose 0.25 points. There is no loss of points for not answering a question, but a candidate will lose 0.10 points if they skip eight questions in a row. The following scoring pattern will be used to figure out the XAT score for 2023. To understand how the XAT is scored, let’s first look at how it is marked:

What Will Happen After XAT Result 2023?
After the XAT 2023 results are released, XLRI will announce the cut-off percentile for admission to its Business Management (BM), Human Resource Management (HRM), and General Management Program (GMP) courses. Those who score high enough on the XAT(Xavier Aptitude Test) will have to fill out a form on the institute’s website to show that they want to take part in the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds. Then, the schedule and process for the GD/PI will be sent to the candidates who made the shortlist through email. The final decision on who gets in will be based on how well the candidate did in the XAT 2023, the GD/PI, and in school.

Q. When will the results of the XAT in 2023 be made public?
Ans. The official notice says that the XAT(Xavier Aptitude Test) 2023 results will be released on January 31, 2023. But it could be announced earlier, as XLRI has done in the past by putting out the scorecards by January 17th.
Q. Will my XAT score for 2023 come by mail or email?
Ans. No candidate will receive their XAT result-cum-scorecard by mail or email. Candidates must use their XAT ID and password to log in to the official website and then download their XAT 2023 scorecards.
Q. I can’t get on XAT because I forgot my password. How can I find out what my XAT score is?
Ans. You can set a new XAT password if you forget your old one. To get a new password, go to the official website and click on “forgot password.” Then, follow the instructions. Once the new password is set up, you can log in and see what your XAT score is.
Q. How long is a XAT score good for?
Ans. Your XAT score is only good for one year from the date you found out your score. This means that people who take the XAT in 2023 can only use their score to get into the 2023–2025 class.
Q. Which colleges will accept your XAT score to get in?
Ans. XLRI, Jamshedpur, and 11 other B-schools that are members of XAMI accept XAT scores for admission. Aside from these 12 schools, about 700 other B-schools in India also accept the XAT score.
Q. Is there a way to change the score on the XAT?
Ans. No, you can’t change how your XAT score was calculated. The scores on the XAT scorecard for 2023 will be taken as the final. People can take the Xavier Aptitude Test again next year to improve their scores.
Q. Will the XAT result 2023 include the cutoffs for XLRI?
Ans. XLRI will announce the cut-offs for each course a few days after the results are released. The cutoffs will be posted on the official website so that candidates can check them and fill out the form for an interview call.
Q. Will my XAT score report have a score for each section?
Ans. The XAT scorecard for 2023 will have percentiles for each section and for the whole test. Along with the candidate’s name, photo, and signature, the scores and percentiles will be written next to each section.
Q. Will XLRI give out the answer key before the XAT result?
Ans. Answer keys for the XAT 2023 will be posted online a few days after the test. Candidates will also be able to question the XAT answer key if they think one of the answers is wrong.
Q. What happens if I don’t meet the minimum? Will I still have a chance to get into XLRI?
Ans. A candidate won’t be considered for admission if they don’t meet the minimum cutoff. They can, however, apply to other well-known MBA schools that accept XAT scores.
Q. When will the GD-PI round for XLRI happen?
Ans. The GD-PI round for XLRI will most likely happen in February 2023. After the shortlisting process is done, the chosen students will get an email with the exact dates.
Q. The XLRI GD-PI will be held in which cities?
Ans. The GD and PI for XLRI will be held in Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata, and Jamshedpur. For the GD/PI round, candidates have to be there in person. Because of COVID-19 in the country, the GD/PI was done online through video conferencing in 2020, 2021, and 2022.
