Step-2: BIMTECH Shortlisting & Final Selection Criteria

Applicants will be shortlisted in two phases: a profile-based shortlist for PI round in December 2021, followed by a second shortlist after exam results are released in February 2022. Applicants submit their applications early (before December 2021) and late applications after December 2021 are shortlisted for the second round.

• CAT/XAT or other entrance exam scores will be used as shortlisting criteria for the second round. Third/last week of February 2022 will be the PI for the second round.

*Weightage for work experience would ideally be given to a candidate only if he/she had worked in an executive or supervisory role for a minimum period of one year as of January 31, 2022, in a registered company having a turnover of Rs 50 crores or more in the preceding financial year i.e. 2020-21. However, if the applicant is from a start-up, entrepreneurial, or social organization, management has the discretion to waive this specific criterion based on the merits of the situation. * A genuine proof of residency must be submitted in order to get regional weightage.
