Deserving performers can receive the following awards and scholarships from the institute.
IMI Bhubaneswar offers limited scholarships to students wishing to take up full-time studies at the IMI Bhubaneswar. Upon admission, successful candidates are exempt from paying tuition and only need to pay a one-time fee of Rs. 62,000/- (registration fee of Rs. 25,000, lifetime alumni fee of Rs. 12,000, and a refundable security deposit of Rs. 25,000). If a candidate fails to complete the program, the Security Deposit of Rs. 25,000 will not be refunded.
The IMI Bhubaneswar scholarship award is Rs 30,000 per month for a period of two years after the student passes the coursework, comprehensive examination, and defense of the thesis proposal. Each term will have a three-month stipend disbursed at the end. Every six months, the student will be reviewed for progress, and the incentive will be disbursed based on the student’s performance in the six-month period just completed. The candidate’s guide will certify whether the candidate’s performance has been satisfactory or unsatisfactory in the past six months.
A Contingency Allowance of Rs. 20,000 per year (for two years) is also available to the successful candidates to cover the expenses of research, books, photocopying, etc. The maximum amount that an FPM scholar can receive for conference attendance, workshops, and summer schools is Rs.50,000/- (upper limit).
Students with an annual family income below Rs. 8 lakhs will be eligible for scholarships under the Economically Weaker Section.
Scholarships for economically disadvantaged sections shall account for 5% of the total intake at the institute.
Scholarships of Rs.25000 will be awarded to candidates with at least five years of post-qualification experience at management levels and a first-class career.
A 20% additional merit scholarship will be given to women who meet the above criteria.
Scholarship of Rs.25000 for applicants recognized at national or international level events.
Scholarships may be awarded to defense personnel for Rs.25000.

The AICTE-approved Fellow Programme in Management at IMI Bhubaneswar aims to give prospective scholars a platform to challenge conventional wisdom and introduce them to new forms of knowledge and understanding. In order for the FPM research scholars at IMI Bhubaneswar to produce original theoretical and application-oriented research work with wide-ranging implications, they are expected to employ a rigorous multidisciplinary approach.
IMI Bhubaneswar offers a four-year FPM that can be extended by one year. Subject to approval by the competent authority, the programme may, however, be further extended twice by one year, in exceptional circumstances.

Since July 1986, IMI Delhi has been offering a Post-Graduate Diploma in Management for Professionals. In September 2013, IMI Bhubaneswar initiated the program. Here classes are streamed through online mode at a specific time. It has a seating capacity of 80. It is a one-year course. To apply for this course the applicants need to have 50% marks in graduation.
Ans. IMI Bhubaneswar offers hostel facilities to their students. It has 120 single bedded rooms with high LAN activity and uninterrupted power and water supply. You can opt for either AC or a non-AC room. It also provides several outdoor and indoor game facilities. All the hostels have high security and medical services.
