TISSNET Exam Pattern

The TISSNET exam pattern 2023 contains the format of the question paper, the kinds of questions that will be asked, the scoring system, and other information. On February 25, 2023, TISS Mumbai will be hosting the TISSNET 2023 exam for applicants. The TISSNET examination is given in a computer-based test (CBT) format in over one hundred centres spread out over 39 different cities in India.

The question paper for TISSNET 2023 will include three categories: English Proficiency, Mathematical Skills and Logical Reasoning, and General Awareness. These portions will be based on themes that are included in the TISSNET 2023 syllabus that has been outlined by TISS Mumbai.

  • Each right response will earn one point in the overall grade.
  • There will be no deduction of points for incorrect attempts.

Exam Format for the Pre-Interview Examination

On the basis of the TISSNET merit list, the qualified applicants will be required to appear in both a Pre-Interview Test (PIT) and a Personal Interview after the results of TISSNET have been revealed. The following constitutes the PIT organizational structure:

  • The examination will consist of a written test and a group discussion.
  • Total Marks– 50 marks
  • Essay Writing and Case Study Questions Make Up the Types of Inquiries
  • Weightage – 70%

Note that the TISSNET score will not be factored into the overall score; rather, it will only be used to determine which applicants will move on to stage 2. The final selection will be made using a score combination that is composed of seventy percent PIT and thirty percent PI scores. The ratio of 30:40:30 will be used to aggregate the applicants’ TISS-MAT, PIT, and PI scores. This applies to candidates who have applied to both the MA HRM&LR programme and the MA ODCL programme.
