IIM Shillong Cut Off

IIM Shillong is becoming a top-ranking Management Institute and has placed itself among the top IIMs and other top B-schools in the country. To get admission to IIM Shillong for the year 2023, candidates will need to submit their CAT 2022 scores. However, overseas applicants have the option to apply with GMAT scores obtained within 24 months before the application date. IIM Shillong admissions invite candidates with strong analytical skills, a results-oriented mindset, and an excellent academic record and work experience. Admissions to various management programs at IIM Shillong are done based on entrance examinations such as CAT and GMAT. Interested applicants should stay updated by visiting the official IIM Shillong website for any additional admission and IIM Shillong Cut-Off-related information. For the PGPEx program at IIM Shillong, admission is based on CAT/GMAT scores. Eligible candidates are shortlisted based on the IIM Shillong Cut Off for CAT/GMAT scores and subsequently invited for group discussions and personal interviews. The PGP WE program also relies on CAT/GMAT scores for admission. Candidates who haven't taken the CAT or GMAT tests can be considered for IIM Shillong admissions based on the institute's own written exam, WE-MAT.

Admission to the two-year full-time residential Post Graduate Program (PGP) in management primarily depends on CAT scores. For the academic year 2023-25, domestic candidates are evaluated based on their CAT 2022 scores, while overseas candidates can be admitted based on GMAT scores acquired after December 15, 2017. The PGP program admission has two stages. First, candidates are shortlisted based on the IIM Shillong Cut Off CAT score, followed by a final selection process based on IIM Shillong selection criteria, involving group discussions (GD) and personal interviews (PI) for shortlisted candidates. IIM Shillong's cut-off for CAT is 90 percentile (overall) and 75 percentile (sectional) as the criteria to shortlist candidates for group discussions and personal interviews. These are the minimum required cutoffs that must be fulfilled by the aspiring candidates to get selected. The institute follows a two-step admission process for admission in 2023. To calculate the final merit list, 30% weightage is given to CAT 2022 scores, 40% to the PI score, 10% to work experience, and 15% to class 10 and 12 marks. The specific CAT IIM Shillong Cut Off is not publicly disclosed by the institute.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, IIM Shillong did not hold the GD round last year. Instead, the personal interviews and other admissions procedures were conducted via video conference. Apart from that, the previous year's IIM Shillong admissions process did not take graduation marks into account. However, given the changes made to the IIM Shillong admissions procedure in 2023, it is expected that the GD round will be held as part of the final selection procedure, and graduation marks will also be taken into account.
