Nalanda University Cut-Off / Eligibility Criteria For Post-Graduation Degree (Masters)

A 2.2/4.0 GPA or an equal Grade Point Average (GPA) is the minimum required for an undergraduate degree, although 55% is also acceptable. Any curriculum from any stream, including humanities, sciences, engineering, management, law, etc., is open to applicants. They are only permitted to apply for two programmes at a time.

International and domestic students can register for Nalanda University's 4-year PhD programme.

For students who are enrolled full-time, it is an exclusively residential programme. Housing is not provided to part-time students unless they are enrolled in contact programmes or seminars that run no longer than seven days.

Essential Eligibility Criteria: The applicant must hold a master's degree with at least a 65% overall grade point average (GPA) or an equivalent degree, preferably with a master's-level dissertation, or a master of philosophy (M.Phil.) degree with at least a 65% overall grade point average (GPA) or an equivalent degree.
