Candidates will learn the IIM Sirmaur entrance requirements for MBA admission for the 2023–2025 session with the release of this official notification.
The 2024 IIM Sirmaur admissions for the MBA process at IIM Sirmaur are determined by CAT scores first, then PI (CAP & SAP Round). The CAT score will be used to determine the MBA shortlist, and the anticipated 92 percentile IIM Sirmaur cutoff for 2024 MBA admission is in place. Shortlisted applicants for IIM Sirmaur admission MBA will participate in either the Supernumerary Admission Process (SAP) or Common Admission Process (CAP), including a PI round. Final MBA admission is determined by the following factors: job experience, PI, CAT score, diversity (gender/academic fields), and academic profile. Regarding MBA (T&HM) admission, the IIM Sirmaur Test result comes first, then PI, and then CAT or GMAT.
In order to move on to further admissions stages, candidates must take the CAT exam and clear the necessary cutoff, much like all other IIMs. Candidates who receive CAT scores that are clear can enter the institute through one of two methods:
Nine IIMs are doing a joint Common Admission Process (CAP) round. Any applicant hoping to be admitted into one of these nine IIMs must go through the standard Personal Interview, which is conducted during the CAP Round. The results of the PI will be utilized by all nine IIMs when compiling their merit lists.
Candidates who are female and do not fulfill the minimal requirements for the CAP round may participate in the SAP round, which is hosted at IIM Sirmaur.
Here you will get to know the required cutoff for the CAP round and merit list, profile weightage, academic overview, career experience, etc.
To help CAT applicants understand the minimal requirements if they want to be considered for further admission rounds at IIM Sirmaur, here are the CAT cutoff percentiles from the previous year.
