IIM Lucknow Overview

The Indian Institute of Management Lucknow is a centrally-funded, public business school located in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. Established in 1984, it is the 4^th Indian Institute of Management (IIM) founded by the Government of India. Renowned academician Ishwar Dayal played an important role in establishing the Institute and served as the founding director for four years there. The institute was ranked 6^th in the NIRF ranking 2023. Ministry of Human Resource Development of India (MHRD), recognized and awarded “Institution of Excellence” status to IIM Lucknow. The newly founded 3 IIMs, IIM Jammu, IIM Rohtak, and IIM Kashipur are under the mentorship of IIM Lucknow.
