The 2021-2023 batch, the largest-ever cohort in the 37-year legacy of IIM Lucknow, concluded its final placements with an impressive 100% placement record. During the IIM Lucknow Placements of 2023, more than 200 recruiters visited the campus to hire students from the PGP and PGP-ABM batches. A total of 556 students from the PGP & PGP-ABM batches received 632 job offers. For the PGP-SM batch, over 25 recruiters extended offers, while the IPMX batch alone witnessed a record number of 90+ recruiters aiming to recruit fresh business talents from the institute. In the placement drive, PGP and PGP-ABM batches achieved the highest domestic package of INR 1 CPA and the highest international package of INR 65 LPA. The average package stood at INR 32.23 LPA with the median package settling at INR 30 LPA. These figures represent the highest-ever average and median package in the history of IIM Lucknow Placements. Additionally, the highest and average packages for PGP-SM students were INR 66 LPA and INR 30.44 LPA, respectively. As for the 2021-23 IPMX executive batch, the median package received was INR 26.62, with an average package of INR 26.47 LPA.
The students got placed in a wide variety of roles including, Consulting, Finance, General Management, IT & Analytics, Sales & Marketing, Operations & Retail E-commerce with leading recruiters from across the globe. The placement team and top recruiters from within the country and outside along with new recruiters made the placement drive a huge success regardless of the current state of our economy. The summer internship program by IIM Lucknow also released the placement report for the 2022-24 batch. The highest stipend and the average stipend received were 3.50 Lakhs per month and INR 1.41 Lakhs per month respectively. The median stipend stood at INR 1.50 Lakhs per month.

My association with Mr Kanhaiya Agarwal, the founder of Formfees, a niche start-up in education space, goes back to school days. Kanhaiya and I were school friends and I have watched him closely during his evolution from a young charming boy to a hard core entrepeneur.
