How to register for CAT 2023?

Registration for CAT 2023 is open between 10:00 am on August 2, 2023, and 5:00 pm on September 13, 2023, at the official CAT 2023 website, www.iimcat.ac.in. The registration process for CAT 2023 is as follows:

  • Create an individual User ID and Password by registering.
  • To complete the application form, sign in using the generated User ID and Password.
  • After filling out the application form and paying for it online, submit it to finish the registration and application procedure.

No modifications can be made by applicants once the payment has been received and the application form has been submitted. 

Only once the application form has been submitted can it be seen and printed. Details can be found on the website for applying.

Make sure to register before the last date for registration i.e. 13th September. Don’t wait till the last day to register.

Check after you have registered

  1. After submitting the registration form, you should get an email from the administrator with the subject line "CAT 2023 Successful Registration" containing your login information. 
  2. Make sure to check your mailbox right away. Please check your spam folder if you don't receive the email within a reasonable amount of time.
  3. Additionally, you will get the login information through SMS from the sender IIMLKO on the registered mobile number (not applicable for applicants from abroad). 
  4. By clicking the link provided in the email, you can proceed to finish your application for CAT 2023 using these credentials. You can sign in using the CAT website as well.
