SDM Education Trust founded the Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Institute of Management Development in 1993 in Mysore’s Chamundi Hills. The University of Mysore, Mysore, and Tumkur University, Kerala are both connected with the institute.

SDMIMD, Mysore provides three full-time Management programs. These are residential programs that last anywhere from 11 months to two years. In addition, the Institute provides a Ph.D. program that is accredited by the University of Mysore. Here are a few highlights about SDMIMD courses:
