About the Program:
Many international students apply for IIT Madras scholarship primarily through scholarships offered by organizations such as the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) and Study in India (SII). The smartest candidates pass our rigorous selection processes and receive an offer letter (about 10% of applications). However, we discover that only 20% of this pool receives a scholarship and joins. Given their financial conditions, the others are unable to pursue a degree at IIT Madras without a scholarship. IIT Madras is eager to welcome such deserving applicants to its full-time MTech and Ph.D. programs.
Our goal as an Institute of Eminence is to achieve top worldwide rankings, and one of the important criteria for international rankings is the number of international students on campus. Furthermore, as international students with degrees from IIT Madras advance in their jobs, India's soft power grows. IIT Madras has recently offered nine MTech programs for international students in cutting-edge science and technology fields. These programs include cyber-physical systems, data sciences, quantum computing, and others. We are appealing to our alumni's generosity to assist us in raising cash for a scholarship for overseas MTech students that will cover their living expenses and tuition fees. For domestic students, the living allowance will be equivalent to the Half Time Teaching Assistantship (HTTA) or Half Time Research Assistantship (HTRA). This would amount to about INR 10 lakhs per student for two years and would include some assistance in obtaining housing outside of school. We intend to admit approximately fifty students through this program, with approximately five individuals admitted per program.
The IIT Madras scholarship will be awarded subject to the following criteria:
Advantages of the Proposed Scholarship: Exchange of various perspectives and ideas
The entire proposed money is approximately INR 4.5 Crores (9 lakhs for 50 students).
In order to be considered for the IIT Madras scholarship, the applicant must complete the following steps:
Any application for one of these scholarships or other financial aid will be disqualified if they are found to have violated the Institute's disciplinary rules or participated in misconduct. The Institute's
Financial Aid and Awards Committee may establish minimum grade point criteria for students to be eligible for scholarships.
If the sponsors do not object, a student may accept more than one scholarship or financial aid during the same academic year, as long as the total amount does not exceed the actual yearly expenses payable to IIMA during the same academic year (PGP fees and other charges plus boarding and lodging as well as personal expenses up to Rs. 30,000 per year).
If a scholarship or financial aid recipient receives another scholarship or financial aid from a source other than the Institute, he or she must immediately notify the admissions office.
The terms governing the award of financial aid and scholarships are subject to change at the discretion of the Institute and sponsoring organizations.
The Institute reserves the right to revoke a scholarship or financial aid already awarded on the following grounds: (i) providing inaccurate information in the scholarship/financial aid application, (ii) infraction of the Institute's disciplinary regulations, and (iii) misconduct.

My association with Mr Kanhaiya Agarwal, the founder of Formfees, a niche start-up in education space, goes back to school days. Kanhaiya and I were school friends and I have watched him closely during his evolution from a young charming boy to a hard core entrepeneur. During my preparation for management entrance exams, Kanhaiya and his team at Formfees helped me immensely in finalizing the startegy and fine tuning the execution. It is because of he and his team that I have been able to secure my dream seat at XLRI. I wish Formfees all the best for all its future endeavours.
When I Coming to know about 'Formfees', I saw in it an opportunity to keen aside all the queries regarding application processes with the Formfees team which is home to proper & correct information for all B School entrances along with that they also help me a lot with my GD PI preparations which made my way my dream College IIM AHMEDABAD to KUDOS to Kanhaiya Sir & Formfees.
