MICAT Counselling
MICAT Counselling – Group Exercise (GE) and personal interviews are going to be a part of the MICAT selection procedure in 2023. (PI). After the MICAT selection procedure 2023 is complete, a final merit list will be distributed. This list will be determined by the score on the MICAT as well as the results of the personal interview and group discussion.
The MICA campus will serve as the location for the selection process for MICAT 2023. During the academic year 2022-23, the institute will provide the MICAT on two separate occasions.
The Selection Process for the MICAT 2023 Exam
Candidates who pass the preliminary examination will move on to the next round of the MICAT selection procedure in 2023. After that, the candidates who made it this far are required to take part in a group exercise (GE) and a personal interview (PI). The following are the three steps that will be included in the selection MICAT Process 2023:
First Step: CAT, XAT, or GMAT Tests
Each applicant is required to have completed at least one of the following examinations: CAT, XAT, or GMAT (CAT, XAT, or GMAT) (onwards).

This is the B section: (has 4 sub-sections) – Verbal Ability, Quantitative Ability, Data Interpretation, General Awareness; Divergent and Convergent Thinking Capabilities

The Third Step: GE and PI
All of the applicants who have been chosen based on how well they performed on the CAT, XAT, GMAT, and MICAT examinations are required to take part in both the Group Exercise (GE) and the Personal Interview (PI).

A qualifier is a Section A of the Psychometric test known as the MICAT.
If a candidate is successful in the psychometric part, their performance on the CAT/XAT/GMAT will be taken into consideration. The institute will take into consideration the candidates’ CAT/XAT total percentile scores as well as their GMAT scores if they meet the minimum cut-off.
The institute will evaluate each candidate’s performance in Section B of the MICAT based on how well they fared in either the CAT, the XAT, or the GMAT.
Those candidates who pass based on the relative performance subject to securing a minimal cut-off (normalized scores)) of Section B of the MICAT will next have their performance in Section C of the MICAT evaluated. Each segment will have its own termination point.
Those candidates who are successful in Section C of the MICAT based on sections a, b, c, and d (on the basis of relative performance subject to a minimum cut-off (normalized scores)) will be considered for shortlisting for the general examination and the individual interview. Candidates who have been shortlisted will receive an invitation to participate in the general examination and the personal interview in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Delhi, Kolkata, and Mumbai respectively. (The list of candidates who have been shortlisted for GE and PI is generated on the basis of a composite score algorithm that takes into account 50% of the marks received on the CAT/XAT/GMAT and 50% of the scores received on the MICAT.)
The GE-PI MICAT Process Will Be Used For MICAT 2023 The group exercise (GE) and personal interview (PI) will be used as one of the three stages of the MICAT selection process 2023. The results of the candidate’s performance on the preliminary examination will determine whether or not they advance to the next selection phase for the MICAT 2023. The chosen applicants will be contacted to participate in this GE-PI procedure. During this stage of the MICAT Process, the institute looks at candidates’ personalities as a whole.
