Candidates who want to sit the JEE Main 2023 or JEE Advanced 2023 tests must register in order to participate in the counseling process. The following are the processes to completing the JoSAA 2023 online registration form:

Step 1: Go to the JoSAA website for further information.

On the screen for logging in, you will need to enter your JEE Main 2023 application number, along with your password and your security pin.

After you have read the instructions, choose the checkbox that says “I Agree.”

There will be a presentation of the JoSAA counselling form.

Complete the form, then select “Confirm Registration” to finish the process.

Step 2: Select your filler and secure it: Candidates will be required to lock in their preferences about college and courses in the second round of the process. Applicants will be given seats in accordance with the availability of those seats and the choices they provide in the application. The steps involved in filling out and locking online option boxes are listed below.

Fill out the online form with your preferred combination of educational institutions and programmes.

Candidates have the option of selecting edit, change, or delete.

After making sure, you should lock the options.

Candidates have the opportunity to lock in their preferences following each session of counselling.

Step 3: Allotment of Seats in JEE Main 2023 Candidates will be given seats in accordance with the ranks they achieved in JEE Main 2023 or JEE Advanced 2023. The mock seat allotment that was done by JoSAA likewise took place in two rounds. The candidates who are granted seats will be required to confirm their admission by paying the admission confirmation fee and attending the institution to which they have been assigned on the dates that have been stated.

Step 4: After the process of seat allotment, candidates are required to pay the counselling fees and confirm their seats before moving on to Step 4, which is the payment of admission fees. Candidates are required to use Net Banking or e-Challan to pay the seat acceptance fee for the seats that have been awarded to them. At the reporting centre, each and every needed document will be checked for accuracy. Candidates will each get a letter of provisional admission once their application documents and the required fee have been reviewed and paid for, respectively.

Candidates do have the option to float, freeze, slide, or withdraw their application if they are unhappy with the seat that has been assigned to them.

Float is an option that is available to candidates who want to keep the seat that was given to them or upgrade their seat.

Freeze: If candidates are content with the seats that have been allotted to them and do not wish to take part in any additional rounds of counselling, they have the option of selecting the “Freeze” option from the menu.

Candidates who want to accept the assigned seat and upgrade the programme they are currently enrolled in at the same institution or institute have the opportunity to select the “Slide” option.

Candidates who have previously accepted the seat but then decide they no longer want it have the opportunity to withdraw from the seat by reporting to the institute to which they have been assigned prior to the conclusion of the final round of JEE Main 2023 seat allotment.
