PES University Cut off

• Jun 22 2023 Bangalore - PES University campus had an international yoga day on June 21, 2023. Yoga must be made mandatory starting in sixth grade and continuing through postgraduate study, according to PES University Chancellor Dr.M. R. Doreswamy, and it must be included in the curriculum. According to Swamy Vivekananda, a person might undergo a transformation by being forced to practice yoga frequently. Numerous studies have shown that yoga reduces chronic health problems and enhances learning capacity. The Department of Sports and Physical Education organized the event, which was attended by around 1300 students and faculty.

• Jun 21, 2023, Bangalore - On Monday, June 19, 2023, "National Reading Day" will be held thanks to a partnership between the Central Library and Kannada Odugoodu at PES University. The GJB Block on campus played host to this event, which was specifically designed to engage first-year engineering students. The event was slated to take place between 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM. The goal of "National Reading Day" was to spread awareness of and recognize kids' love of reading. • Jun 02, 2023, New Delhi - At the Khelo India University Games 2022, which were held in Uttar Pradesh from May 27 to May 31 of 2023, Ms Manasa S M, an eighth-semester student at PES University in the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) department, won a Silver medal in the 500-meter Single Scull and a Bronze medal in the 2000-meter Single Scull Rowing (Women) Competition.

• May 24, 2023, Bangalore - Recent events at SJB Institute of Technology included the annual TCS Tech Bytes event organised by BITES and TCS. At the Bangalore regional round of the event, which was hosted by famous quizmaster Giri "Pickbrain" Balasubramanium, more than 400 students from various colleges in Bangalore took part. This year, instead of the normal format of teams with two competitors, the competition was a one-person event. Twenty questions made up the written portion of the preliminary round. The final round was advanced to the top 8 high-scoring competitors. The finals consisted of four games with questions covering every aspect of science and technology. Chandrachud J from PES University won first place and received an award of 15,000 rupees. The Bangalore Marathon winner, the regional round winner from Bangalore advanced to the state-level stage where she faced off against regional champions from other Karnataka cities. Chandrachur was awarded INR 85,000 rupee as a scholarship through PES University.

The 14th iteration of the prestigious Tech Quiz - TCS Tech Bytes was held by Tata Consultancy Services in cooperation with the Board of IT Education Standards (BITES) and was hosted by PickBrain.
