Defence Scholarship

A scholarship program is being launched by Parul University for students with a history in the armed forces. Through this admirable initiative, PU hopes to honour the Defence Forces for their extraordinary achievements and sacrifices on behalf of our country. The goal of this program is to give students access to the necessary materials while also giving them a comprehensive education that will help them succeed in their chosen fields. Additionally, the Armed Forces Cell at PU is a plus for us because it acts as a platform for encouraging and training prospective students to enlist in the military.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicable for Officers/ Soldiers in the Defence Forces and their dependents. The services that have been included are for the Indian Army, Indian Navy, Indian Air Force, and Indian Coast Guard.
• The scholarship is for all regular courses.
• Scholarship Scheme for Serving Defence Personnel (those who are nominated through study leave) and Retired Defence Personnel.

Cultural Scholarship

Scholarships in the arts provide opportunities for the next generation of talented artists who are driven by passion and possess exceptional creative talent. Such gifted people now have access to the necessary academic materials thanks to this award. The program is created to match students' interests and aptitudes with a range of cultural disciplines, including dance, drama, music, painting, sculpture, and literature. This program's main goals are to encourage students to get involved in their culture, develop their natural talents, and give them a comprehensive education so they can succeed in whatever career they choose. Additionally, students must exhibit a high standard of conduct, substantial social engagement, and active participation.

Eligibility Criteria

• 10% of seats are reserved for candidates who have excelled in co-curricular activities in their school/ +2 programs.
• Candidates who have represented their school/college in any Cultural or Literary Activities at State/National/International Level and won prizes (1^st, 2^nd, or 3rd) can get admission to the degree of their choice with a scholarship of 10% or above.  
• Applicable for Bachelor's and Master’s Degree courses like Engineering, Hotel Management, Architecture, Management, IT & Computer Science, Applied Sciences, Social Work, Law, Fine Arts, Library Science, Commerce, Design, and Arts.

Sports Scholarship

Through sports scholarships, students can explore the breadth of their athletic potential in a variety of sports while maintaining their academic emphasis. Students who have excelled in any sport and wish to enroll at PU to pursue further education are eligible for this scholarship program. This program's main goal is to encourage kids to have a competitive spirit and to develop their natural talents, while simultaneously giving them a comprehensive education that will help them succeed in any area they choose. Students will be chosen based on their capacity, empathy, and commitment to make a substantial contribution to PU.

• 10% of seats are reserved for candidates who have excelled in co-curricular activities in their school/ +2 programs.
• Candidates who have represented their school/college in any Sports activity at State/National/International Level and won prizes (1^st, 2^nd, or 3rd prize or gold, silver, bronze medal/ trophies) can get admission to the degree of their choice with the scholarship of 10% or above.  
• Applicable for Bachelor's and Master’s Degree courses like Engineering, Hotel Management, Architecture, Management, IT & Computer Science, Applied Sciences, Social Work, Law, Fine Arts, Library Science, Commerce, Design, and Arts.

Parul University Vadodara Scholarship Terms & Conditions

• As previously noted, the scholarship is contingent on the University's requirements for information, certifications, and papers to be verified and authenticated.
• An applicant who is qualified for the scholarship mentioned above as well as any other scholarship, financial aid, or benefit program offered by Parul University must choose just one of these programs.
• The above-mentioned scholarship is only available at the time of admission, and applicants must apply for it at the time they submit their admissions application, or before the deadline set by the university.
• The aforementioned scholarships are applicable to the course fees that are listed in the relevant year's prospectus under the course specifics for the term/semester in question. In the case of fees for various other requirements or facilities, such as those listed under the heading "Other Fee" in the General Admission Guidelines of the Prospectus, the benefit of the scholarship will not be available.
• The duration of the scholarship benefit is the regular course period. But if a student takes longer than usual to complete the course, he will not be eligible for these rewards for the additional time.
• Documents to be submitted by persons availing of the scholarship under this scheme:
• For serving personnel: Bona fide certificate from the Commanding Officer of the Unit currently posted with seal.
• For ex-servicemen: Pension Pay Order, Discharge Book, and Copy of ID card.
• For dependants of Defence personnel: Dependant card issued from the Unit Posted or Zila Sainik board.
• Officers on study leave Bona fide certificate from respective Directorate of education, Headquarters, Delhi.
