Hostel Facilities

The Old Hostel, White Hostel, and New Hostel are the three main hostels, and there is a lot of room for interaction and building relationships inside each. Computing & Wi-Fi Facilities

The IIM Calcutta campus has one of the best information technology infrastructures in the nation.

Wi-Fi is available throughout the Management Development Centre (MDC). The most recent computers are networked and connected to the Internet via a 320 Mbps connection at the PC Lounge at MDC. Management Centre

Management Centre for Human Values documents more than 20 years of aspiration and work to provide modern adaptations of Indian Psycho-Philosophical wisdom to the members of human organizations and institutions, both in India and overseas. It is entirely interreligious. Being a critical link between the "Protestant Ethic" from the Far West and the "Confucian Ethic" from the Far East, it also represents the effort to evolve the "Vedantic Ethic" from the Indian deep structure. Finance Lab

In order to conduct cutting-edge research on financial markets using real-time high-frequency data from financial markets in India and around the world, the Financial Research and Trading Lab (FRTL) at IIM Calcutta was established in November 2008. The Lab's transformation as a top-tier centre of excellence in 2011 was made possible by a grant from the Government of India for Rs. 20 crores.
