About

Balaji Institute of Modern Management (BIMM), Pune was established in the year 1999. BIMM, Pune is a constituent institute of Sri Balaji University, Pune. It is a private institute. The Balaji Institute of Modern Management is the oldest institute of the other four management institutes of the university; the other three institutes are the Balaji Institute of Telecom Management (BITM), Balaji Institute of International Business (BIIB) and Balaji Institute of Management and Human Resources Development (BIMHRD). The total number of faculty members there on the campus is 43 and the total student enrollments are 717 students.

BIMM Pune offers AICTE permitted two-year full-time M.BA programmes. Courses offered at BIMM include M.B.A in Marketing, IT and Marketing, PM and HRD. A large hostel, gym and a swimming pool, sports and many other facilities are available there on the campus. Scholarship and placement opportunities are also provided to the students.

Balaji Institute of Modern Management, Pune offer admission to various M.B.A programmes in different branches. BIMM Pune admission is offered based on the merit of the entrance examination. Before BIMM Pune admission, candidates must ensure that they meet the required eligibility criteria. For the Balaji Institute of Modern Management admission process, candidates have to secure a valid score in CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT or MAH MBA CET. Further, candidates have to appear and qualify the group discussion by experts followed by a personal interview. Group discussions will last between 30-45 minutes for every group. BIMM Facilities and Infrastructure 2022-2024

BIMM Pune facilities and infrastructure include a library that has a huge collection of books, journals, educational audio and video materials, journals back issues and magazines comprise international and national editions. On the campus, there are separate hostels for both boys and girls. Facilities such as drinking water coolers, lockable steel almirah and in-room furniture are provided to the students.  The hostel has a gymnasium and a swimming pool. A doctor is present in the hostel premises for providing basic first aid and for treating minor and miscellaneous ailments. BIMM Pune facilities include computer labs well equipped with desk-mounted systems supported by internet connectivity. BIMM Pune provides indoor and outdoor game facilities. Indoor games include table tennis, carrom, and chess. Outdoor games include cricket, football, volleyball, and badminton. The entire course is taken by external faculty members who have huge industry experience and great domain knowledge. Ans. I studied at BITM (then ICTM) in the very 2nd batch i.e. 2003–05. BIMM (then IIMM) was already 6 years old. The placement team and the management of the institute put their best efforts in giving academic inputs to make us better management grads to face the placement season. Also, they were quite aggressive on placement and did quite well to ensure that there are enough companies for the group colleges as well as for an individual college. Most of my batch-mates got placed. They all are doing well in the industry as well. Cut to 2018, the things have only improved. Companies are coming with better roles. You must not worry about placements or the package if you are thinking of joining any of these institutions. It is only how you improve yourself during those 2 years of course will matter.

Q. What is BIMM Pune like in terms of placements?

Ans. It a decent college with a good placement record.94% of the student got placement this year. Package wise: its average package is 5.7 LPA. Companies like TCS, WIpro, HCL, and Infosys do visit the campus and hires in good amount of number. Almost all the banking and insurance sector companies visit the campus every year.FMCG companies like ITC, Colgate Pamolive, Kevin care became the part of placements.

Q. How is the hostel facility in BIMM Pune?

Ans. I opted for staying at the hostel at SBS and it turned out to be the best decision ever. The scenario at SBS hostel is a bit different as they say hostel is compulsory for the first year students (around 85-90% of the batch stays there, rest is like ones who prefer nearby accommodation or locals) and for the second year you have to move out and live by yourself, mandatory again. Personally I followed this routine only and I found my life way simpler to the ones who took the other road. So as far as the hostel charges are concerned they are seriously worth it, in fact I found it better both economically and hygienically as well. It is around 35–40k for the whole year and this includes morning breakfast, again if not the best in taste, best in quality. Fee structure is feasible: For 2 month induction program is managed by grandmaster consultancy and its fees is 49K. 1st year (combine fees) is around 2, 35,000. For 2nd installment its around 3, 30,000rs. Rest around project and development fee: and living on your charges would be at around 1 Lakh. This 1 Lakh is again estimation and depends on individual. All in all its like an average person living his second year at the nearest available accommodation (there are societies in walking distance to the inst) would end up spending a somewhere in access of 7–7.5 Lakhs.
