1. How is it to Study at Amity University?
Ans. If I had to interpret the experience of Amity Mumbai, I will call it– BREATHTAKING.
The immense amount of knowledge and personal growth that this university has to offer is a class apart. After spending over three years in this abode, I can say without an inch of hesitation that my decision was worth it. This university is surely a melting bowl of culture and diversity. It will not only groom you to fit in the ever-competitive world but will also mold you as a better human being.
2. Is Amity University Mumbai good for MBA?
Ans. Amity Business School is one of the few B-schools in India which provides multiple specialization options for students to choose from (HR, Finance, Marketing, Operations). Apart from that Amity University Mumbai also have desirable courses related to building management and logistics which makes amity an alley where a lot of career opportunities can be explored in the field of management and business. The eligibility criteria for the candidate should have a minimum graduation score of 50%. In addition to that, A National / State MBA Entrance Exam score or an appearance in Amity’s Entrance Test is required.
3. How good is Amity University’s Mumbai campus for engineering?
Ans. The department of Engineering and Technology is one of the most sought-after branches of Amity University regardless of any sub-stream. The department has a varied range of things to offer. Tie up with TATA Technologies gives students much-needed industry orientation. The course is structured in such a way that it gives both practical and theoretical knowledge to the students. It has up to date state of art labs and practical facilities helping the students to practice and become industry-ready by the time they graduate.
Amity University Mumbai endeavors hard to achieve excellent placement and internships for students. Amity School of Engineering and Technology’s first batch is placed at various reputed industries. CRC organizes on-campus interviews for student placement and training and internships. They also conduct corporate guest lectures and facilitate industry interaction. 4. What is your review of Amity University, Mumbai?
Ans. Amity University is the best private university in Mumbai. It has a very good campus with great surroundings.
The faculty is very experienced and is always supportive and a well-stocked library. We get to attend very helpful guest lectures. We have many events which are coordinated by students for a good experience. There are industry-integrated programs to equip students with the requisite skill set to meet the industry requirements.
AMINOVA is our main event which is held every year where we get to attend many workshops and also get the opportunity to participate in different activities.
Amity not only helps us get good in academics but also helps us to continue with the sport of our choice by letting us be part of Sangathan.
We have clubs such as cultural club, theatre club, and poetry club which is very active and exciting.
5. Is Amity university Mumbai good for psychology?
Ans. Yes, Amity University Mumbai is a very good option for both Bachelor's and Masters in Psychology. It offers both BA and BSc degrees. It has experienced faculty members and a well-structured course.
The course gives a firsthand experience of counseling centers where the students are encouraged to be a counselor under the guidance of trained professionals. All in all, it is a very good course to opt for in this university. It gives a lot of exposure to the students.
6. Should I choose Amity University Mumbai for B.TECH Engineering Computer Science with 65% in 12th boards & will I get admission?
Ans. I always recommend people to choose Amity over other local colleges if they cannot get into one of the top colleges in the city. Since you secured 65% in boards, which is exactly the cut-off percentage below which they don’t accept anyone for the BTech course, if you are comfortable communicating in English, then you just need a short revision of all your 12th topics of PCM to secure admission. Amity JEE is a very simple examination, scoring is not a big deal. In an interview, you shall be asked simple conceptual questions, just ensure that you are able to answer those questions. Getting admission here is not a tough task for as long as you meet the eligibility criteria.
7. How much is the bus fees of Amity University Mumbai?
Ans. With the bus fees, if you mean the college bus, it is free of cost. Since Amity is on the outskirts, University offers free of cost traveling from Amity to Panvel Railway Station and Panvel Railway Station to Amity. However, there is a bus schedule and no buses are available other than those times. And as for now, there is no bus on Sunday.
Other ways to go to the town from Amity University are:
Rickshaw, which costs approximately 200 rs, drops you wherever you wish in Panvel.
The Government Bus, costing around 10–20 rs which drops you at the Bus Stop. (It also has a fixed schedule, the bus stop is away from the University and you have to walk around 500 mt to reach and also it’s a bit crowded.)
8. How is the ragging in Amity University, Mumbai?
Ans. There is no ragging of any sort here in Amity Mumbai. Not just because there are pretty strict rules and very bad consequences, but also because the seniors themselves haven’t had any experience of ragging so they don’t know how it works

Ans. Aeronautical Engineering comes under the Amity Institute of Technology at Amity University Mumbai also TATA technologies teach this course in collab with Amity University Mumbai at the campus. Aeronautical Engineers work in multidisciplinary engineering teams. They may work in aerospace and aero-engine companies, airline operators, research and development organizations, contract agencies, consultancies, the civil service, the armed forces, and government agencies such as the Ministry of Defense. As batches have graduated placement has seen a good arouse year by year. Good companies visit the campus for the campus interview. The university has its own CRC (Corporate Resource Centre) Placement cell which is looked after placements, internships, and all.
11. How is hostel life at Amity University Mumbai?
Ans. The accommodation is “Apartment Style” with a series of bedrooms that share a common lounge and bathroom. Each bedroom provides double occupancy and so each apartment has 6 occupants. There are AC and non-AC rooms with 200MBPS Wi-Fi. The rooms are well-lit and well-ventilated, with geysers in every bathroom and a TV set in the common room for entertainment. Each student is provided with a separate bed, mattress, pillow, pillow covers and sheets, cupboards, and study table with chair. To make the environment safe, healthy, and more conducive to study, the university ensures a 24-hour water supply and power supply, tight security with surveillance cameras, and 24X7 security guards. 24 hours medical room is also available for any medical need.
12. Is Amity University, Mumbai, good for English honors?
Ans. Yes, Amity University, Mumbai is a very good option if you want to go for English Honors. The faculty in this department is very experienced and the course structure is very well laid out for easy understanding and implementation.
13. How is Amity University, Mumbai for economics?
Ans. Amity University Mumbai has courses for Economics that not only help one to get more knowledge of that field at the same time, also help the students to gain more knowledge on other fields too. Amity University has provided minor track programs along with regular courses which in today’s scenario is not offered by other Universities.
