MBA from Delhi University Eligibility

To pursue MBA From the List of MBA Colleges in Delhi University one needs to have a certain eligibility criteria. Universities may have different prerequisites. Delhi University's MBA admission requirements are as follows: 

Full-Time MBA 

For Indian Students

To be able to secure a spot for the admission in the To secure admission to MBA Colleges in Delhi University you need to have a minimum schooling of 10+2 from a recognized school, a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from the University of Delhi or any recognized university with at least 50% marks. 

And with that it is also mandatory that the student needs to have either Maths or Business in class 12th. The course is also open to candidates who are currently enrolled in their final year of their bachelor's degree in 2023. CAT (Common Aptitude Test) scores are one of the major criteria for admission.

And for Foreign Students

Non-native students must meet certain prerequisites to be admitted to MBA programs. A 10+2+3 qualification is required. To get a seat in Delhi University's MBA program, candidates must also pass language proficiency tests such as IELTS and TOEFL and GMAT, CAT, XAT, or MAT

Executive MBA 

  • Applicants must have completed twelve years of formal education and have earned a bachelor's degree in any field with a minimum of 45% marks. 
  • After completing a bachelor's degree, they should have a minimum of five years' experience as an executive or administrator in the government or commercial sector. 
  • A 'No Objection Certificate' from the current employer or sponsorship from the company is required for candidates.

There are 2 stages in the FMS selection criteria 

  • The first stage is appearing for CAT

Delhi University MBA Admission 2023 - FMS Delhi 

It's not easy to get into any of the MBA programs at Delhi University. Due to its affordable MBA program, it gets even tougher. So, you need to be very cautious about your application.

For admission in FMS, you need to follow this procedure:

  • Candidates need to fill the application form for FMS. The registration fee for MBA is INR 1500
  • Your selection will be based on your merit, CAT exam and interview. Here is the weightage for each category:
    • CAT 2023 Score – 60% 
    •  Marks obtained in Class X – 5% 
    •  Marks obtained in Class XII – 5%
    •  Group Discussion – 10% 
    •  Extempore – 5% 
    •  Personal Interview – 15% 

An additional 3% relaxation is given to female candidates

Here is the admission process for DFS:

  1. Candidates need to fill out the application for DFS. but you should Check your eligibility for the exam.
  2. The following courses will get extra weightage:
  3. Then the candidates who are selected will be then shortlisted for Group Discussion/ Personal Interview
  4. The selection criteria for GD/ Interview is based on the weightage to the following requirements:
    • CAT- 70%
    • Class 10th – 10%
    • Class 12- 7.5%
    • Marks obtained in Maths/ Business Mathematics- 2.5%
    • Female Candidates receive a relaxation of 5%
    • 5% weightage to the above-mentioned degrees
  5. After completion of the interview and GD, your final result will be declared on the basis of this weightage:
    • CAT- 57.5%
    • Marks in Class 10th- 5%
    • Marks obtained in Class 12th- 5%
    • GD- 7.5%
    • Interview- 5%
    • Female Candidates receive a relaxation of 2.5%
    • Candidates with above mentioned degrees- 2.5%
  6. There is no separate weightage for work experience
