At IIT-BHU, separate hostel facilities are available for girls and boys. The rooms are air-conditioned and well-ventilated. IIT-BHU Varanasi Library Facilities

IIT-BHU Shreenivas Deshpande Library is connected to the network that spans the entire institute. The library has two servers, seventy computers, and sufficient accessories to meet the requirements of its patrons. In the e-Library section, 50 computers provide access to databases, e-books, e-journals, and other e-resources. All sections of the library are linked to the computer network and equipped with Wi-Fi. Users may utilize their laptops in the library.

The library has five online 45 KVA UPS units and a 40 KVA DG set to ensure an uninterrupted power supply. For security purposes, the library has also installed CCTV with sixty IP-based color cameras and three color monitors. Additionally, we have two multimedia projectors that are utilized frequently for presentations and User Awareness Services.

At IIT BHU, students are provided with recreational centers like sports facilities and gym facilities. The gym is for both boys and girls that helps them to stay fit and active.
