The duration of this examination is 2 hours and 30 minutes. Students are required to go through this entrance exam in order to seek admission to Calcutta University. After the conduction of the exam, the CU released its counseling form on the basis of which the students are called for seeking admission to a particular course under the university.

University of Hyderabad Entrance Exam: The University of Hyderabad Entrance exam is conducted in order to give admission into its various UG and PG courses.

The exam conducting body is NTA and the student needs to appear for CUET in order to seek admission in the university.  The exam is based on CBT and the Pattern of examination is MCQ type. The duration of the exam is 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Savitri Bai Phule University Entrance Exam: The Savitribai Phule University Entrance Exam is conducted in order to give students admission into various UG and PG as well as Ph.D. level courses. The OEE or Online Entrance Exam is conducted by the university to seek admission into courses like B.Tech (Aviation), BBA (Hospitality & Facilities Management), B.Voc, BA (Liberal Arts), and B.Sc.

PhD students must complete 32 hours of course field selected from the METR and GEOS graduate course lists and a dissertation.

Hydrogeology: The students must have Ms or Ph.D. degree in the atmosphere and ocean sciences. The student must have a 20-24 hours of course fieldwork and a thesis. At least 14 hours must be selected from the Hydrogeology course list and at least 10 must be core courses in the Hydrogeology curriculum. For Ph.D., the student must complete 32 hours of regular course fieldwork and 16 hours of hydrogeology.
