The International Management Institute (IMI) Bhubaneswar, founded in 2011, is a young institute that ranked 62nd in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2021 conducted by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India. AICTE-approved Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM), PGDM (Part Time), and FPM (equivalent to Ph.D.) programmes are currently available at IMI Bhubaneswar. The flagship PGDM programme holds NBA (National Board of Accreditation) accreditation and AIU equivalency (Association of Indian Universities). The United States Board for Education Standardization (USBES) has accredited and recognized IMI programmes. The European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD), the Association of Management Development Institutions in South Asia (AMDISA), and the Association of Indian Universities are all members of the institute (AIU).

IMI Bhubaneswar has created a robust entrepreneurship cell, which has recently organized a number of workshops and events and trained over 250 participants on entrepreneurship in collaboration with the Department of Science and Technology, Institute of Entrepreneurship Development, MSME Department, and National Entrepreneurship Network, inspired by the Prime Minister’s vision of Start-up India to create more job creators than job seekers (NEN). IMI Bhubaneswar has also established its own Incubation Center to continue to encourage student entrepreneurship.

Through its affiliations with EGADE Business School in Mexico City, Mexico; Sichuan Academy of Social Sciences (SASS) in Chengdu, China; ESC Rennes, France; and Manhattan Institute of Management (MIM) in New York, USA, IMI Bhubaneswar has attempted to forge international connections. Every year, in collaboration with an international partner institute, IMI Bhubaneswar organizes three international conferences to provide an environment for global learning, possibilities for international student exchange, research collaborations, and opportunity to meet with world leaders. Palgrave Macmillan publishes SCOPUS indexed conference anthologies on a regular basis for the organization.

The curriculum for the PGDM programme is updated on a regular basis to ensure up with industry’s ever-changing needs. IMI Bhubaneswar Placements 2021 Report

During its placement drive, the International Management Institute (IMI) in Bhubaneswar is quite well for attracting a plethora of highly prized profiles and lucrative salary packages. The institute just finished its placement campaign for the 2019-21 PGDM class. The university was visited by more than 50 recruitment firms.

IMI Bhubaneswar Placements 2021 has announced its final report. According to the report, the whole PGDM class was placed. Domestically, the highest CTC was INR 14.95 LPA. The top 75% of students earned a CTC of INR 8.75 LPA on average.

Scholarship

The institute has made provisions for deserving performers to receive the following scholarships and awards.

Scholarships for Pre-Admission

• Merit Scholarship: Up to Rs. 1 lakh for students with a stellar academic record and a CAT/XAT/CMAT score of at least 80% and a GMAT score of at least 80%.
• Women’s merit scholarship: 20% extra merit scholarship for female applicants who meet the above-mentioned conditions.
• Defense personnel: Defense personnel’s wards are eligible for a Rs. 50,000 scholarships. Wards of Martyrs are entitled for a Rs. 1,00,000 scholarships.

Only one of the pre-admission scholarships listed above may be used. The first half of the scholarship will be paid out at the conclusion of the first year, followed by the second half at the end of the second year. Either a tuition price waiver or a pre-admission scholarship is available to candidates. The decision of the Scholarship Committee is final and binding on all candidates.

Scholarships for Post-Admission

Merit scholarships are given out to students who have excelled in their academics. The purpose of the summer internship fellowship is to underline the importance of summer internships and to encourage students to give it their all.

IMI Cut Off 2022

For its flagship MBA course, IMI Bhubaneswar is presently taking online applications. Candidates with a valid CAT/ XAT/ GMAT/ CMAT score can apply online at the official website of IMI Bhubaneswar. Candidates who are self-sponsored (from India) must pay an application fee of INR 1000, while international applicants must pay a fee of USD 100. The CAT cutoff for the PGDM programme is expected to remain at the same level as previous year, at 80 percentiles. Past academic achievement, employment skills, written assignments, discussion groups, extempore, and an online personal interview are used to make the final decision (PI). IMI Bhubaneswar offers an 11-month online certificate programme called PGCPM. Admission to the part-time PGDM programme requires two years of work experience. The result of the IMI Written Test, CAT, or GMAT is utilized to educational background, job experience, and an interview are all factors to consider. PGCPM admission is based on an admissions test, which is followed by an extempore and a personal interview. The Research Aptitude Test (RAT), followed by the PI round, determines admission to FPM. The institute itself conducts the RAT. Candidates who have a valid CAT/GMAT/GRE/UGC NET/CSIR/NBHM score are exempt from the RAT.

Waiver of Tuition Fees:

• Under the Economically Weaker Section, all students with a total family income of less than Rs. 8 lakhs per annum are eligible for a scholarship.
• Students will be requested to apply for Tuition Fee Waiver under the Economically Weaker Section after they have been accepted into the programmes. Any student wishing to claim the tuition waiver for the PGDM 2022-24 batch should submit an application to the admissions office (admissions@imibh.edu.in) before the due date as specified by the institute, along with a copy of their income tax returns, PAN number, and a certificate issued by a competent authority appointed by the appropriate government.
• Requests received after the deadline will be ignored. Please note that all Tuition Fee Waiver applications (under the economically disadvantaged part) will be gathered and processed at the same time.
• Scholarships for economically disadvantaged students will be awarded up to 5% of the institute’s total admission.

IMI Bhubaneswar PGDM Selection Process 2022

1. Students are shortlisted based on their CAT/XAT/CMAT/GMAT test results and previous academic accomplishments.

2. Candidates who have been shortlisted must participate in an online PI.

3. The IMI Selection Index is calculated using the following criteria: CAT/XAT/CMAT/GMAT score, academic record, group discussion, extempore speaking, essay writing, and personal interview.

4. Candidates who are ultimately chosen will get an offer letter through email.

5. The GMAT exam score is used to select foreign students, PIOs, and NRI-sponsored applicants.

6. As part of the selection process, IMI Bhubaneswar welcomes applications from company-sponsored applicants.

7. Sponsored candidates must provide a letter from the sponsoring organization. At the Personal Interview stage, the letter/undertaking will be required to be submitted.

Computer Centre

The campus features a cutting-edge computing center. A Wi–Fi connected network of over 190 computers provides mobile computing in all places, including dormitory rooms, MDP, Amphitheatre library, and canteen. The school features a 210 mbps high–speed Internet connection that is available 24 hours a day.

For online lessons and practice sessions, the IMI-Bhubaneswar campus includes a unique high-tech computer lab with 81 PCs and a language lab with 32 PCs with the newest chip-set and LED displays. Three HP enterprise edition servers with Windows 2016 R2 as the operating system are also available at the Computer Centre. For printing jobs, there are 31 laser printers and two high-speed color laser printers available, as well as a Konica Minolta network printer in a central area that is accessible to all students. For the classroom, there are three Smart PC equipped TVs.

In computer center, the latest software such as Windows 10, Microsoft Office 2016, Microsoft Office 365 XL Miner, Visual Studio 2007, MS Project 2010, SAP, Gretl, SPSS 26, MSDN Academic License, SEQRITE Anti-Virus Server Client Editions, Tally ERP, Adobe creative cloud family, Markstart, Advance Language lab software, SAP Modules, Tablue, and others are available. Modern Video Conferencing is available at IMI-Computer Bhubaneswar’s Centre to promote HD communication across geographies. For grading, online comments, online quizzes, and online and biometric attendance, online assessment software is placed on the network. Students, staff, and instructors have been given login information to use the programme from anywhere on campus to view students’ grades.

Bloomberg terminals for students and teachers have been put in the library, allowing investors to access the Bloomberg data service, which delivers real-time financial data, news feeds, and messages, as well as facilitating financial transaction placement.
