MIT World Peace University is India’s premier educational institution, founded in 1983 as part of the MIT Group of Institutions. For its B.Tech degree, MIT-WPU was been placed 150th in the NIRF Engineering Rankings 2021. The B.Tech Programme is available in nine different Engineering and Technology specialisations. Admission to the B.Tech programme at MIT-WPU is based purely on the student's performance in the JEE Main or MHT-CET entrance exams.

Through its career services, MIT World Peace University (MIT WPU) offers all students placement options as well as internships. According to the placement 2020 statistics published on the University’s official website, the highest salary given was Rs 37.26 LPA by Rakuten, a Japanese corporation. While the average wage package was Rs 3.20 LPA, a 20% increase was made. Over 600 engineering students have been placed in businesses such as IBM, HCL, Michelin India, Amdocs, Infosys, ONGC, Hitachi, and Barclays.

Every year, MIT WPU, Pune publishes its cut-off and merit list for various courses for admission to UG and PG programmes. I have a mixed opinion on the college.

Placements: Almost 70% of the students are placed. The highest salary package offered was 12.1 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 1.8 LPA. The average salary package offered was 2.8 LPA. Amazon, Deloitte, Byju’s, GEP, Carwale, BNY Mellon, ICICI Bank, Kotak Bank, HDFC Bank, MarketsandMarkets, Apollo General Insurance and Bajaj Electrical, are the top recruiters. Roles of a business analyst are offered. The highest salary package offered in our course was 12.1 LPA. The lowest salary package offered in our course was 1.8 LPA. The average salary package offered in our course was 2.8 LPA. I don’t know much about internships.

Infrastructure: Facilities provided were good. Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, auditorium, sports ground, and all were really good. I didn’t stay in a hostel so don’t know much about all of this. But my friends did, and they find it good. The food served in the college canteen was okay. Some items were good, and some items were equally bad.

Faculty: Some teachers were good, and some were not. There is a mixed opinion on teaching quality. Some teachers use to make teachings a great experiences, while some were too boring and would take a lot of time to make us understand a small thing. Some would share a lot of their own experience which helps us in getting practical views. The course curriculum was relevant and makes the students industry-ready.

Other: I have chosen this course to gain practical experience. Placements should be improved here. There were lots of events and all, so I would give thumbs up to it.

The best college to learn from various experts from the industry.

Placements: Companies do visit the campus with good placement. Delloite, Amazon, and TCS are the major companies visiting the campus. A good number of SIPs are offered, and weekly there are 2 companies offering SIP. Reliance has also visited the campus in the month of January, this year.

Infrastructure: MIT-WPU has a big campus including many major degree courses and diploma courses as well with the college building in the front of the university with spacious classrooms and facility of elevators and is surrounded by MBA, MCA, BBA and BCA students all day long.

Faculty: The course is the best part of MITSOM with the new university schedule in place. Industry experts and faculty sort the entire course at MITSOM. The faculty here are mostly with PhD and are into the profession from long with industry experts visiting the campus for lectures every now and then.

Other: January and February are the major event months with NTC and BCS being the grand events with teachers and politicians coming from all over India.

Remarks : 

I have applied to many colleges and but my merit matched with that of KKW so I took admitted here. I took admission through Open category and with an EWS facilities certificate. Admission is based on the percentile scored in MHT-CET and JEE Mains for Open you must have above 85 percentile to take admission through CAP rounds. But you can get proper counselling for your admission in their college and try for Institutional quota if you have low grades.

Course Curriculum Overview : 

The term exams were taken after each semester and the Unit test was conducted every three months difficulty level was hard and above normal. But the teaching staff will take care of your syllabus and you would not be required to take too much stress.

Internships Opportunities : 

As a Computer science, the person I have got into Microsoft with 8 LPA, and most of the students get the higher package. At the end of the day, it depends on you. The companies offer jobs on the basis of the qualifications and the performance of the students most of the jobs arise from the production and management sector .there are 38 big companies to give you jobs .more the merrier

Placement Experience : 

It is. Very good in placements it is the best Engineering institute for campus placement in Nashik city and that’s its speciality. Companies like Microsoft Nvidia tech Mahindra TATA Google Infosys Bosch etc came here to give you a job. The average package is 6-8 LPA. And they offer 90 percent campus placement.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions : 

If you are in the Open category you will have to pay huge fees for studying here this is a costly college and offers the best jobs in Nashik. But you can easily apply for schemes like EBC and TFWS to get discounts on annual tuition fees. This college offers placement in companies like Microsoft, Nvidia, tech Mahindra, TATA, Google, Infosys, etc With a minimum salary of 6 LPA.

Campus Life : 

In terms of extracurricular activities, this is not very good here means it has been seen that this college doesn’t have annual social gatherings tech fests are arranged VERY well here. This college has its own library and it is well equipped with world-class study material available Here is a very large playground for football, volleyball, cricket, and other such sports.

Hostel Facilities : 

The hostel is well furnished and has various amenities and large rooms for the accommodation of 2-3 students the meal served here Is good in taste and has high nutritional values. again this is not very affordable and you can join any pg in the local area.

Remarks : 

I have applied for so many colleges. I am from Kolkata and I got selected for several colleges like aot and mckv st. Thomas from the wbjee exam I scored 15000 and I have applied for tfw too but the reason I don’t get admission is that I don’t have the document at that time and even I don’t have the domicile at that time so the counselling date is over and I didn’t get selected so then I applied for rmdssoe and I don’t avail any quota. The admission criteria are simple I apply for admission through the Maharashtra college counselling portal. So the admission process is simple I got selected in round 2 because of my jee the main exam jee main and mhcet score is required to apply for admission there if you have given mhcet or jee main you are eligible to fill the form.

Course Curriculum Overview : 

I did choose this course because I am quite familiar with the course and you all know that nowadays cs is the most demanding branch in engineering so I have decided to choose it. Students are almost 70-80 per classroom. The quality of the faculty is good and a library is there and even an electronic elevator is also there. And the teachers are highly qualified with over more than 20 years and 10 years. The term exams are 1-2 months later like the unit test taken by the college and after that, in sem and after 2 months there will be end sem we have to fill the exam form first then we are eligible to give the exam. Exams are quite difficult but that is not much currently the exam is online so it’s not hard but even if it is online if you go through with previous years’ papers you are good to go.

Internships Opportunities : 

There are so many companies who came for internship in our college and our college provides internships too companies like one plus and cognizant come to our college Wipro TCS and they provide a stipend of 7000 per month which is quite good as you are newbies and you are learning there about the work culture, its good to gain some experience there and everyone heard about Internshala too you can also get the internships to form these too they are the better way too if you are looking for a job then you can apply there.

Placement Experience : 

Our college placements are good so many companies came to our college and higher so many students and they got good package companies like oracle Wipro cognizant TCS Accenture. The highest package offered is about 12 lakhs per annum and the lowest package is around 3 lakh The package rate is higher for the cs and its students. Almost every student in the college got placed this year and the student-getting placed ratio is very good. I don’t know about my plans.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions : 

The fees are expensive and most likely many private engineering colleges are expensive so the annual fees are more than 1 lakh rupees and the total for 4 years is bout 450000. I don’t like the fee policy because open category students have to pay the full amount but the sc and st have to 1500 a year which is insane this year they have to announce that I don’t like the fee procedure. I am from outside Maharashtra so I don’t get any of the scholarships and I am paying the total fees with no discounts but for the students who are from Maharashtra they are eligible for the scholarship and every student gets the scholarship and they get half of the money they have paid which is good.

Campus Life : 

For the freshers, a big fest is organized known as sinhgad karandak and it is the biggest fest many students from sinhgad branch join there and enjoy it it is too big so many students come here bands dance parties. The fest is conducted at the starting of the first year you can go and also check on youtube about it. Yes, a lot of books are available in the library you can borrow the book if you want and have fun. 70 students strength of the classroom. Yes, many sports activities are there like cricket football basketball and many more.

Remarks : 

Admissions are based on MHT CET score of candidates. Admissions are also granted on the basis of JEE Main scorecard, particularly to the other state candidates. For candidates belonging to Maharashtra, it is mandatory to appear for MHT CET. There is no age limit for admission and appearing to MHT CET.

Course Curriculum Overview : 

It was very good enough for students there a large number of activities are done in our college we all do studies with that activities and so many trips are organized for the student’s industrial visits are there.

Internships Opportunities : 

There is a smart training and placement department which leads under our training and placement sir head in charge of that they personally groom and teach everyone. From the 7th semester, students are eligible for campus placements. Various MNCs namely TCS, CRANE FLOW PROCESS, KSB PUMPS, etc come to the college every year for placements

Placement Experience : 

Above 60% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered was 7.5LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1.8 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Tata Communications Services and Dhananjay Electricals, Satara visit our campus for placements.

Campus Life : 

Our college provides facilities like various labs, a library with 30 tables, Wi-Fi computer labs, and a classroom. A projector is available in each classroom. For each student, there is a personal computer to practice programming. Smart Classrooms Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today. It is the best private college in Maharashtra with a huge brand value.

MIT Pune placements: Placements in mechanical engineering are always above 80% because the remaining opt for further education, business, etc. It is because graduates get offers from both core and non-core industries. The highest salary package offered in engineering is 48 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 6.5 LPA. Top recruiters include IBM, Infosys, Tata Motors, Wipro and KSB.

MIT Pune infrastructure: The college campus is huge and very beautiful. It has well-equipped CS and technical labs, and libraries have many books from all domains. There are garden spaces and student-friendly classrooms with smartboards in each classroom. Hostel facilities are home-like, and the quality of the food in the mess is better than most of the other colleges.

MIT Pune faculty: Teachers are very helpful and considerate. They have huge experience in their respective fields and astounding knowledge. The course curriculum is relevant and up to date. Students are made industry-ready and taught to be attentive all the time. It is especially because of a bit hectic but smoothly followed the trimester pattern.

It is a good college, with good co-curricular activities like Aarohan and many more.

MIT Pune placements: The campus is small compared to other colleges but is situated in Kothrud, which is the centre of the city. The connectivity is good. CSE has a total of 480 students, which is huge and needs to be reduced. Right now, our recruitment process is going on, so the companies offering packages from 3 LPA to 10 LPA come here

MIT Pune infrastructure: I think MIT WPU has the best infrastructure in Pune. The facilities available here are Wi-Fi, computer labs, a library, clean washrooms and a proper medical team. The hostel has 300 rooms, and each room consists of 3 beds, study tables, chairs and two fans. The quality of food served is good, and every menu is available in the canteen.

MIT Pune faculty: Almost all the teachers here are highly qualified and have completed PhD in their respective fields. There is a trimester pattern, where the exams are conducted three times a year. There is every subject and practical lab, so we are much experienced in practicals.

MIT Pune placements: MIT WPU offers placements in almost 200 companies in India and abroad. About 50% of students get placements. The highest salary package offered is 24 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies here are Infosys, Mahindra & Mahindra, HCL and many more.

MIT Pune infrastructure: The college offers a wide variety of Infrastructure for the holistic development of the student. There are also two gymnasia which are well-equipped with all the modern amenities. We also have 24×7 WI-FI available in the college which gives the freedom to use the internet without any restrictions. Also, the college computer labs are fully internet connective.

MIT Pune faculty: The faculty in the college is the most qualified personnel witnessed by me. The college principal also gave regular motivational lectures to the students to deal the life-related problems. Also, the teachers are very helpful, and I still remember when I was having a problem in one of the topics of business statics, the professor helped me during midnight, because we had exams the next day. That quality of teachers impressed me very much.

Amazing University in Pune.

MIT Pune placements: Every year, more than 80% of the students are placed in B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering. Last year, the highest package went up to 37.5 LPA CTC. The companies that visit the campus almost every year include Rakuten (A Japanese technology company), Infosys and many others. The average package goes somewhere around 6-7 LPA.

MIT Pune infrastructure: The infrastructure of the institute is the best. No other university in Pune has such an elegant infrastructure. The Library is huge with well-equipped wi-fi facilities. Each floor is dedicated to a particular department and books are arranged accordingly. Classrooms are huge.

MIT Pune faculty: The teachers of the college are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Each and every faculty is helpful no matter at what time of the day/night you bother them. As the college is autonomous, the curriculum is designed keeping in mind that the students are made industry ready.

MIT Pune placements: Around 70-80% of students get placed from college. But the placement mainly depends on the student's knowledge. Many companies visit the college but to get a handsome salary package, and the student should showcase high professional skills within himself/herself and should have an above-average CGPA throughout the engineering

MIT Pune infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college has been an attraction for Pune city. The classrooms are well-maintained as they are cleaned every Sunday, and every classroom has a smartboard, and every teacher uses it for teaching. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled, and it has a really good speed.

MIT Pune faculty: The teachers are really helpful. You just have to get in contact with them if you need any help. But they are very strict when it comes to submissions. I can’t say much about the relevance of our course curriculum to the industry as I am in 2nd year.

MIT WPU is a good college in terms of facilities, guidance and subject knowledge of the teachers

MIT Pune placements: Almost 90% of the students from CS and IT branches got placements. The highest salary package offered is 15 LPA. All students of our batch got internships for at least 3 months. Other branches got 6 months of internship opportunities, and some of them also got paid stipends. Students here get industry experience.

MIT Pune infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. Labs have all the necessary equipment required, and practicals happen on time. There are hostels in and around MIT in front of the gate, and they are reasonable and good.

MIT Pune faculty: The curriculum is very relevant, and teachers teach extra for us to grasp more knowledge. Teachers have a lot of knowledge, and they are very helpful. The curriculum makes students industry-ready. A lot of new subjects are incorporated from multi disciplines to help students.

MIT Pune placements: The placement process is easy. Even our college has eased in the internship process, which gives us the convenience to choose companies. The batch from WPU hasn’t passed out yet, but before, the highest salary package offered was around 13.5 LPA.

MIT Pune infrastructure: MIT-WPU has a big campus including many major degree courses and diploma courses as well with the college building in the front of the university with spacious classrooms and facility of elevators and is surrounded by MBA, MCA, BBA and BCA students all day long.

MIT Pune placements: The college has 100% placement records. Highly reputed companies visit our college to offer placements. The lowest package offered is 4 LPA, and the highest package offered is 12 LPA. Students get better opportunities from college. With the help of the CRC team, students get exposure to the corporate sector is helpful. Companies offer final placements and also Summer internships to students.

MIT Pune infrastructure: The best point about MIT is it has the facilities like a smart LCD board, advanced classrooms, seminar halls, ground, library, Wi-Fi facility, medical facilities, canteen etc. The hostel on the campus is average. Many private hostels and other residing facilities are available near our college. Our college has advanced features for students.

MIT Pune faculty: Faculty members in our college are highly qualified and experienced in not only domestic firms but also international firms. Our college follows the Harvard University pattern. We have a CRC team (corporate relationship cell), and I am a part of it. We call guests from industries to encourage and guide the students and make them aware of the requirements in the market.

MIT Pune placements: The college has very good placement records and also they have divided different placement coordinators for different specializations through which the companies are more segregated. The placement companies include Deloitte, Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, Federal Bank and many more.

MIT Pune infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is really amazing. The classes are well furnished. The computer labs are also good and the library consists of thousands and lakhs of interesting and knowledgeable books. The hostel facilities are also great.

MIT Pune faculty: The teachers are really helpful at every step and they also provide us with industry knowledge at the same time. The teachers guide us not only in the academic part but they also help us to build up our confidence and communication skills as well because they are really important.
