The schedule for the IAT 2023 has been released by the Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER Aptitude Test 2023). The official ISER Admissions website, iiseradmission.in, has published the IAT 2023 timetable. The IAT 2023 Application procedure will start on April 15, 2023, and the IAT 2023 Test will be held on June 17, 2023, according to the official timetable. After the application window starts, applicants who are interested and qualified can apply for IAT 2023 on the official website.

Candidates will also need to pay a Rs 2,000 application fee when submitting their IAT 2023 applications. Those who are SC/ST/PwD or Kashmiri migrants must pay a Rs. 1,000 application fee.

Notably, the Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER) conducts the IISER Aptitude Test, a national entrance exam, for admittance to their premier undergraduate science programmes. A 4-year BS in Engineering Sciences and Economic Sciences, given by ISER Bhopal, and a 5-year BS-MS programme are the courses offered by IISERs through the IAT.

IAT Exam 2023: Overview

On June 17, 2023, at predetermined locations around the nation, the IAT 2023 Exam will be delivered online using computer-based testing (CBT). The exam will include 60 questions in total, 15 of which will be from each of the four sections—Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology. The exam will have a maximum time limit of 180 minutes. Candidates receive 4 marks for each accurate response, but they lose 1 point for each incorrect response.

IAT 2023: Qualification Requirements

Those who are interested in applying for IAT 2023 should have either passed their Class 12 exams with the Science stream in 2022 or be taking them in 2023. Candidates must also have taken a mix of three subjects from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology in their 12th grade.
