The wait is almost over for lakhs of students across the country as the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to release the Class 12 board exam results any day now. As students and parents alike stay glued to their screens, anxiety is building across households, coaching centers, and school WhatsApp groups.
While CBSE has not confirmed an exact date, multiple reports suggest the results may be declared between May 8 and May 13, 2025, most likely during morning hours.

- Go to: cbseresults.nic.in or results.cbse.nic.in
- Fill in your Roll Number, School No., Centre No. and DOB
- Click on “Submit” to download your result
Via DigiLocker:
- Login to digilocker.gov.in or app
- Link your Aadhaar (if not done)
- Go to “Issued Documents” to download your digital marksheets

What Comes Next & Criteria For Passing
Students are required to obtain a minimum of 33% in each subject (theory + internal + practical marks) in order to pass. Students who feel that their marks are not a true reflection of their performance can apply for a re-evaluation and CBSE will also soon declare the Dates for Supplementary Exams for Students Who Have Not Cleared One Or More Papers.
