Tomorrow, September 8, the mop-up round registration for UP NEET UG counselling 2023 will begin, according to the Directorate General of Medical Education and Training, Uttar Pradesh. For state quota medical and dental seats, eligible candidates may register for state National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET UG) counselling at upneet.gov.in. The application deadline is September 11.

The registration fee is Rs 1,000, which applicants must pay

Students can submit the registration and security deposit between September 8 and September 12 in accordance with the UP NEET UG mop-up counselling schedule for 2023.

UP NEET UG  2023: Counselling Process

The registration for the rounds kicks off the UP NEET Counselling 2023 procedure. Candidates must then pay the security deposit in order to proceed to the phase of document verification. The following are all the specific actions:

  • Once candidates obtain their NEET UG results, which are available on the official website, they must register themselves.
  • Candidates may only register for the counseling once, despite the fact that there are 4 rounds of the UP NEET Counselling 2023.
  • If candidates go to the next level of counselling, the identical procedure does not need to be repeated.
  • The registration fee of INR 2,000 must be paid online with a debit/credit card or net banking.

Government medical schools require a security deposit of Rs 30,000, private medical schools require a security deposit of Rs 2 lakh, and private dental schools require a security deposit of Rs 1 lakh. It is not necessary for applicants who have already paid the security deposit to reapply.

Security payment:

Candidates must send a demand draft to pay a refundable deposit after registering for the UP NEET Counselling 2023. The deposit must be made payable in Lucknow in the name of the “Director General, Medical Education & Training, U.P.” Depending on whether an applicant chooses a public or private college, or a medical or dentistry programme, a different deposit is required.

Furthermore, only applicants whose security deposit has been paid and whose documentation has been confirmed will be permitted to fill out options in the UP NEET UG 2023 counselling mop up round.

UP NEET Counselling: Eligibility Criteria

  • The applicants must have achieved success in the NEET Entrance Examination.
  • Candidates must be residents of Uttar Pradesh.
  • Candidates must have finished their 10+2 coursework in biology, chemistry, and biotechnology. English is a required subject with a minimum grade of 50%. Candidates in the SC/ST category must receive 40%, while those who are physically disabled must receive 45%.
  • The candidate must be at least 17 years old as of December 31, 2023.
  • Candidates born on or after January 1, 2005 are ineligible for admission to the MBBS or BDS programmes.

Documents Required: Up NEET

At the UP NEET Counselling 2023 centre where they have been assigned a seat, candidates must now verify the documents. Candidates will lose their seats if they don’t show up at the appointed hour. candidates who have been assigned seats at the UP NEET 2023 Counselling will need to bring the following documentation.

  • 10th Certificate.
  • 12th Certificate.
  • 12th Mark Sheet.
  • NEET UG 2023 Admit Card.
  • NEET UG 2023 Result/Scorecard.
  • Category Certificate (if applicable).
  • Domicile Certificate (for Uttar Pradesh candidates only).
  • Certificate of Sub Category, If Applicable.
  • ID Proof (Aadhaar Card/Voter card etc.)
