Today, September 20, the Mahatma Gandhi University in Nalgonda will open registration for the 2023 Telangana State Education Common Entrance Test (TS EDCET) counselling. A registration form will be available on the official website, edcetadm.tsche.ac.in, for those who are eligible.

The registration deadline is September 30. Candidates from the unreserved category will be required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs 800, while those from the SC and ST categories will only be required to pay Rs 500.

  • Select the registration link.
  • Complete the application and upload the required papers.
  • Pay the enrollment cost.

Students Will Need the Following Paperwork to Fill Out the Application:

  • TS EDCET 2023 Score Card
  • TS EDCET 2023 Admit Card
  • Certificate of all the qualifying examination especially degree courses
  • Mark Sheet of 10th Class
  • Mark Sheet of 10+2 level
  • Certificate of class 10th and 12th
  • Certificate of Residence
  • Income Certificate (if applicable)
  • Transfer Certificate
  • A valid Photo Identity proof such as Aadhar Card/Voter ID/Passport/Driving License
  • Certificate of special category for NCC/Sports/PwD/CAP
  • Caste certificate issued by a competent authority
  • A Recent self-attested two passport size coloured photo
  • A photocopy of all the above-mentioned certificates

TS EDCET 2023 Counselling

Counselling for the TS EDCET 2023 will begin on September 20. Based on the candidate’s total rank and entrance exam result, the TS EDCET 2023 Phase II Merit List is created to reveal the name of the selected candidates. Candidates must follow the instructions listed below in order to finish the TS EDCET counselling process.

  1. In order to take part in the counselling session, the candidate must re-register on the TS EDCET website.
  2. The registration procedure is followed by the start of online options entry.
  3. The candidate must submit their preferences for colleges and save or lock those options after making a choice in order to finish the option entry procedure through online mode.
  4. Based on the choices expressed during the web options input stage, the seat allocation round will be finalised.
  5. Additionally, all candidates must pay the counselling fee, which is INR 500 for candidates from the reserved category such as SC or ST and INR 800 for students who fall under the unreserved categories of OBC or Other Backward Category, in order to book their seat for the verification round of the counselling session.
  6. The candidate must be at the designated location for the verification round and provide all needed documentation in original form.

Educational Requirements: TS EDCET 2023

  1. Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree with a minimum cumulative GPA of 50%. The degree should have a focus in one of the following areas: business, management, home science, science, or arts.
  • Application requirements include having completed 10+2+3 years of education.
  • Candidates from the SC/ST/BC and other reserved groups must have at least 40% overall in their degree examination scores.
  • Candidates who hold degrees in professional or career-oriented programmes, such as MBBS, BSC(AG), BVSC, BHMT, or B.Pharm, are ineligible to apply for the admission exam.
  • Candidates for the TS EDCET who did not complete their undergraduate studies but instead received a master’s degree do not meet the requirements for the B.Ed. course.
