Tomorrow, September 12, the Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) will close the window for web options for the Telangana NEET UG counselling 2023 mop up phase. On the official website, tsmedadm.tsche.in, qualified candidates may exercise their options.

Candidates may exercise web choices if their names are listed in the provisional merit list for MBBS and BDS admissions on the KNRUHS website.

The following are crucial instructions for mop-up round:

  1. Candidates who received seats during the earlier counselling phases but have not reported or stopped taking the course at the relevant college are ineligible to use their options.
  2. Web choices cannot be exercised by candidates who have not done so during earlier counselling rounds.
  3. Candidates who received MBBS seats during earlier counselling rounds, enrolled in the course, and continued in the course are eligible to exercise web choices, and they are advised to do so.
  4. After being assigned during the Mop Up phase of counselling, candidates are not allowed to withdraw or stop taking the course.

The institution advised applicants that there is no restriction and they may select as many options as they like.

Candidates were instructed to print out the stored options. Candidates who receive a seat must pay the university’s fee of Rs 12,000 in order to download the allotment order.

Telangana NEET Counselling 2023: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates are recommended to familiarise themselves with the qualifying entrance exam, educational requirements, age requirements, domicile, specific course eligibility, etc. before submitting an application for the Telangana NEET 2023 counselling.

Educational Qualifications

The educational requirements that applicants must have in order to be considered for counselling are listed below.

  1. In Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology), Biotechnology, and English, candidates must have successfully completed Intermediate (10+2 pattern) or a comparable test.
  2. Candidates for the OC, including those requesting the EWS reserve, are required to receive at least a 50% grade in science.
  3. Candidates from the BC, SC, or ST groups must achieve a minimum grade point average of 40% in science.
  4. Candidates who are OC PWDs need to receive at least 45% in their science classes.

Norms for Age

The candidates must meet the following age limits in order to apply for the Telangana NEET counselling 2023.

  • As of December 31, 2022, applicants under the age of 17 are not eligible for admission.
  • Candidates cannot join in MBBS or BDS programmes in 2023–2024 if they were born on or after January 1, 2005.
