Police team that investigated the stampede on Cochin University of Science and Technology (Cusat) campus filed a chargesheet naming three faculty members, including former principal of the School of Engineering, as accused in the case. Citing lapses from authorities, they were charged under IPC Section 304 A for causing death by negligence.
