The DAT preliminary exam will be held on January 8, 2023. Preliminary and major portions will each comprise one component of the NID DAT 2023 exam. The National Institute of Design (NID) will release the Design Aptitude Test (DAT) 2023 admission card today, January 2, 2023, for the BDes and MDes programmes. The NID DAT 2023 preliminary admit card is available on the admissions.nid.edu website, which is the official one. By logging in with their registered email address, birthdate, and password, candidates can download it. The DAT preliminary exam will take place on January 8, 2023.

Exam Pattern for NID DAT 2023

There will be two sections: preliminary and major, on the NID DAT in 2023. The DAT prelims paper for the BDes course is a paper-and-pencil/pen test that includes both image- and text-based tasks. English will be the only language utilised on the BDes exam paper. The MDes DAT prelims question paper will feature the Common Design Aptitude Test and a Discipline Specific Test, both worth 100 marks, to evaluate the candidate’s design aptitude. There will be both objective and subjective questions on the DAT 2023 preliminary exam.

When the admission card becomes available, candidates who will be taking the NID DAT 2023 Exam must complete the following steps to download it.

• Click the “NID DAT 2023 Admit Card” link.
• Enter the login information.
• The admissions card will appear in a new tab.
• Check all the information, download it as a PDF, and print it off to bring to the testing facility.
