Detailed Information:
Sher-E-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences & Technology of Kashmir (SKUAST-K) is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Research Assistant (RA) in the Division of Agriculture Extension & Communication, Faculty of Agriculture, Wadura. This position is part of an Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR)-sponsored project titled “Evaluating the Socio-Economic Impact of Solar Water Pumps on Farming Communities in Kashmir.”
Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Qualification:
- M.Sc. in a Social Science discipline with a minimum of 55% marks.
- Preference will be given to candidates with NET, M.Phil., or Ph.D. in Agriculture Extension Education.
Key Details:
- The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
- Duration: Initially for 11 months or until the project’s conclusion, whichever is earlier.
- Work involves project-related activities across the Kashmir Valley.
- There is no provision for regularization or permanent appointment at the university.
