Registration for Kerala Teacher Eligibility Tests 2023, begins today November 6, 2023. The Kerela Pareeksha Bhavan is all set for the registrations of KTET 2023, interested students can apply for the exam on https://ktet.kerala.gov.in/from today.
The registration dates are scheduled between 6 November to 17 November as of now. As the registration portal will be closed till the mentioned date, students are requested to have a copy of their application by 18 November. The admit cards for the same will be issued by 29th December.
KTET is conducted twice a year to ensure the eligibility of the aspirants acquiring adequate skills to teach in Lower Primary and Upper Primary in Kerala. It is conducted as per the guidelines of SCERT (State Council of Educational Research and Training).Also, regulations are put up by NCTE (National Council of Teacher Education) and the Government of Kerala.
Eligibility Criteria for KTET 2023
To apply for the KTET exam, the interested candidates should have completed higher education with 48% marks. Participants should also have cleared the Trained Teachers Certificate or Diploma in Technical Education administered by the Kerala Government Exam Board.
There is no set age limit while appearing for the KTET exam. Thereafter, there is no attempt limit as well.
KTET exams will be held in two shifts on every exam day. The first shift of examination will begin at 10:00 am and the duration of the exam is 2.5 hours. The second shift will continue from 02:00 p.m. to 04:30 p.m.
How to Apply for KTET 2023
To successfully apply for Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test follow these steps:
- Visit the examination website of KTET i.e., ktet.kerala.gov.in.
- Open the mentioned registration link for the October examination.
- Complete the registration process and then log in to your account with your personal email ID or Phone number.
- Fill out the application process by uploading the scanned copies of the required documents.
- Click for the fee payment option on the website. Pay the required amount through online transaction methods.
- Submit your form. Download and save the form for further use.
The application form fee is Rs 500 for all the candidates. Whereas for SC/ST and specially-abled categories have to pay only Rs 250 during the fee payment process.
