The final day for the January 2023 session was extended on Wednesday by the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). Candidates can register right now through March 27. Applicants who have not yet enrolled may do so at ignou.ac.in. The official notice stated, “The final period for re-registration, fresh admission for online and ODL programmes, merit-based ODL programmes is extended until 27th March 2023 without late fees.

The deadline for IGNOU registration was previously extended until March 10, then until March 14, and is now extended until March 27. Applicants should be aware that re-registration will still be subject to the same late fee of Rs 200.

The IGNOU registration process entails filling out a form, providing supporting documentation, and paying a cost. Before submitting the application form, candidates are urged to review the eligibility requirements. Applicants can sign up for a variety of programmes, but for additional information, they must read the official notification.

Candidates should be aware that if any students have issues registering on the portal, such as not receiving an OTP or forgetting their username and password, or experience any other issues, candidates must contact their regional centre to update their email address and mobile number or to correct their account.
