GATE 2024: Marking Scheme, Documents Required; Image Format and Size Instructions
The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2024) application process will be closed by the Indian Institute of Science on September 29 at gate2024.iisc.ac.in. For the GATE 2024 registration process, candidates must upload their documents in the PDF and JPEG or jpg formats.
Candidates must complete all required fields on the application form, including name, date of birth, personal mobile number, parent’s name, parent’s mobile number, and other information.

Candidates must complete all required fields on the application form, including name, date of birth, personal mobile number, parent’s name, parent’s mobile number, and other information. According to the IISc, the candidate’s name on the application form and the name on their legitimate photo ID must exactly match. When registering for the GATE 2024 examination at the centre, the candidate will need to present the authentic government identification card.
GATE 2024 Documents Required for Application: Specifications
- High quality image of candidate’s photograph complying to the specifications set in the Information Brochure.
- High-quality candidate image (5 KB to 200 KB, 3.5 cm wide by 4.5 cm high)
- High-quality signature image, 5 KB to 200 KB, 1 cm wide by 3.5 cm high.
- a pdf file containing a scanned copy of the category (SC/ST) certificate, if applicable.
- PwD Certificate scanned copy in pdf format (if applicable).
- (If applicable) A scanned copy of the certificate of dyslexia in pdf format.
- copy that has been scanned from a legitimate photo ID, such as an Aadhar card, passport, PAN card, voter ID, or driver’s licence.

To prevent errors, candidates are recommended to have scanned copies of their documentation on hand before completing the GATE 2024 application form.The following is a list of the documents that must be uploaded when completing the GATE application form.

Marking Scheme: Gate 2024
There will be 100 total marks awarded for GATE 2024. Multiple-choice questions (MCQs) are the only ones that will receive negative marking. Negative marking is not applicable to MSQ and NAT questions, though. GATE scoring system
