Five-day workshop on painting, calligraphy and photography to begin at AMU on January 27

ALIGARH : The Heritage Cell, Aligarh Muslim University is organizing a five-day skill development programme on “Cultural Heritage” from January 27-31, 2025, in collaboration with the Centre for Excellence in Islamic Architecture, Department of Architecture and Moinuddin Ahmad Art Gallery, AMU.

The Programme Convener, Prof Mohammad Farhan Fazli informed that the experts will train the participants in wall painting, calligraphy, sketching and photography.

“The first two days are dedicated to the wall painting of AMU’s heritage buildings in front of the Department of Architecture, while the participants will be engaged in Islamic calligraphy, photography and sketching on the premises of Sir Syed Hall (South) over the rest of the days”, added Prof Fazli.
