FAST India and BHU Work Together to Strengthen the Research Ecosystem

In accordance with the agreement, FAST India and BHU will pinpoint particular potential for enhancing the academic environment at the institution.
In order to strengthen the quality of research and development activities, reorganise the university’s research environment, and raise its standings, Banaras Hindu University (BHU) and New Delhi’s Foundation of Advancing Science and Technology (FAST) have partnered. According to a BHU statement, FAST is a non-profit organisation that works to develop policy solutions and create capacity to support scientific inquiry and research as well as the production, transfer, and use of new scientific information.
After the contract was signed, Jayant Krishna, the chief executive officer of FAST India, stated that FAST India would determine ways to support BHU’s research capabilities and processes, which would lead to further improvements in research quality by bolstering the current procedures and structural frameworks.
In accordance with the agreement, FAST India and BHU will pinpoint specific opportunities for enhancing BHU’s academic ecosystem. According to BHU, the contract was initially signed for a period of nine months, but it may be extended based on how the project performed.
Professor Sudhir Kumar Jain, the vice chancellor, has often said that encouraging high-caliber research at BHU and creating a conducive environment for it is among his top goals. He has promised to take the necessary steps to prevent efforts intended for research and development from being lost in procedures and complications.
