BHU Admissions 2022: The Banaras Hindu University (BHU) will undertake spot admissions for Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) students who did not fill their options in the previous counseling rounds. According to the most recent post on BHU‘s official Twitter account, “it has accepted the request of the candidates and given them one more chance.”
“The University Admission Coordination Committee of Banaras Hindu University has approved the students’ plea and granted them one more shot at admission,” stated the tweet. All such students who have enrolled but have not filled out their preferences will be admitted on a merit basis in the mop-up or spot round, depending on the availability of vacant seats.”
PG and UG spot admission dates were also released by BHU. November 15 is the start date for UG candidates, and November 22 is the start date for PG candidates.
“These students can apply for vacant seats in undergraduate and postgraduate courses by appearing in the mop-up or spot rounds,” the tweet continued. The mop-up process for undergraduate courses will take place on 15.11.2022 – 16.11.2022, and the mop-up process for postgraduate courses will take place on 22.11.2022 – 23.11.2022.”
Candidates will be eligible to register for spot admission on the days specified. Students who registered for BHU UG and PG Admission but did not fill out their preferences would be given the opportunity to sit for spot admissions. BHU also stated that “These students can enroll on the specified dates by paying their fees based on eligibility and seat availability.
