IMI Kolkata Facilities

IMI Kolkata has a state-of-the-art computing facility for the students on campus. The Computer Centre has nine servers (Dell, HP) with the latest Windows Server and Unix-based operating environments. The campus has a network of more than 400 computers and is Wi-Fi enabled to ensure mobile computing at all locations including hostel rooms, classrooms, amphitheater, and canteen. The campus has 350 Mbps, 24-hour high-speed internet connectivity.

Library & Information Service

In addition to access to a broad range of printed and electronic resources, IMI Kolkata Library and Information Service also emphasizes carefully selected dissemination of information to users. The LIS provides access to a wide variety of Information resources and services to support the needs of our faculty, students, and staff. There are a wide array of business and management books, as well as those related to economics, accounting, finance, behavioral sciences, and information technology with an extensive collection of reference books. The library is fully automated and has a broad range of books covering all aspects of business and management.

Library E-Resources

EBSCO Business Source Complete [EBSCO], SAGE, JSTOR and Emerald databases provide electronic access to periodical titles subscribed [online and hardcopy versions]. Newspapers both domestically and internationally are available daily and weekly. With ‘Contents Pages’, users can scan rapidly the contents of the major journals received, which are mailed out. Other library services include the “Top News” and the “New Additions.”.

Classroom

Bloomberg Finance Lab

The International Management Institute Kolkata has set up a Bloomberg Finance Lab powered by four Bloomberg Terminals that provide real-time information on a variety of financial instruments.
