There are two types of UPES MTech in Health, Safety, and Environmental Engineering. The first is a general MTech in Health, Safety, and Environmental Engineering, and the second is a specialised MTech in Health, Safety, and Environmental Engineering. UPES announced scholarships based on merit and the Uttarakhand state board. UPES offers the following scholarships based on programme:
Scholarship for B.Tech Students
Merit-Based Scholarship:
- Scholarships will be awarded to students who obtain an aggregate of 80% in class X and XII and 80% in PCM for B.Tech (All Streams) in CBSE/ICSE/State Examination Board. These scholarships will be limited to 10% of available seats in each B.Tech programme. Scholarships will be awarded to eligible candidates in Merit order for the first semester.
- Scholarships will be awarded solely on the basis of merit.
- Scholarship continuation in subsequent years will be determined by University policy.
- Scholarship Amount: 50% of the first semester’s tuition fee.
Scholarship for Uttarakhand State Board Toppers
- 1 seat per programme is allocated based on merit.
- The seats reserved under this category will fall under the 15% reservation for Uttarakhand residents.
- “Sthai Niwas Praman Patra” should be included (Permanent Residence Certificate)
- Students will only be eligible for one scholarship at a time (either through Uttarakhand Board Toppers or through Uttarakhand Resident category)

UPES Hostel Fees 2022
The UPES Dehradun hostel fee is given below for the academic session of 2022-23 for triple sharing basis. Fee: Rs.1, 57,500/- normal hostels for boys and girls at Bidholi and Kandoli campus.
