IIT Delhi Introduces Executive Program for Professional Development in Human Resource Management

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has made its “Executive Programme in Human Resource Management” online accessible. The application date for the course is October 24, 2023. The programme will begin on January 13th, 2024.

The module was developed with the evolving environment of human resource management in mind. HR professionals must use data-driven decision-making, maximise talent acquisition, foster employee development, and link HR efforts with business goals in order to successfully navigate the change.

Professionals looking to succeed at HR management may enroll in the Executive Programme in Human Resource Management. It combines theoretical understanding with real-world application.

Eligibility of the Programme

Any discipline graduates or graduates in their final year from an accredited institution are eligible to apply for the curriculum. Students will be chosen in accordance with the shortlisting criteria established by the programme coordinators and their eligibility.

Fresh graduates and early career professionals who want to pursue a career in HR management are welcome to apply for the training. Young HR professionals who want to further their careers in the sector can also apply to increase their understanding of it. The programme is also open to mid-level managers involved in recruitment and HR activities.

The curriculum is also open to professionals from other functional areas who want to enter the HR industry and seek to acquire the experience and knowledge necessary for the profession. You can also apply if you have experience in business analytics or data analytics and wish to learn about the HR principles and procedures for a successful integration of analytics with HRM.

Course Structure

The course’s curriculum consists of an introduction to human resources and management, recruitment and selection, labour laws and industrial relations, talent management-diversity and inclusion, training and development, performance management, HR analytics, flexible work arrangements, and strategic HRM.

The Continuing Education Programme (CEP) will provide the programme. IIT Delhi professors will provide the lessons through interactive sessions and live online lectures. The programme will run every Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m. for 8 months.

The kids will also get the chance to participate in a two-day “campus immersion” programme, which will give them the chance to experience life on a campus. Real-world case studies and projects will be incorporated into the teaching process.

The institute will issue a certificate of completion from CEP, IIT Delhi, upon programme completion.

To be eligible for the Certificate of Completion, candidates must obtain at least 50% of the possible points and meet the required attendance rate of 50%. If the aforementioned requirements are not met, they will only be entitled to get a participation certificate.
