For the recruitment of various RBI Assistant positions, the Reserve Bank of India has released a notification. The 450 Assistant positions are up for filling, according to the notification for the RBI recruitment drive. Candidates should be aware that the deadline for the RBI Assistant application is October 4, 2023. The dates of October 21 and 23, 2023 have been set aside for the RBI Assistant preliminary exam.

RBI Assistant Hiring 2023: Eligibility Requirements

The minimal requirements for applicants are a bachelor’s degree in any field with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 50% and familiarity with PC word processing.

  • The candidate who falls under the ex-servicemen category must have graduated from an accredited university, excluding dependents of ex-servicemen.
  • The applicants must be between the ages of 20 and 28. Candidates from reserved groups, however, are permitted a reduction of the upper age limit.

RBI Assistant Age Restrictions

To be able to apply for the RBI Assistant 2023 Exam, a candidate’s age must be between 20 and 28. Check the chart below for the government-mandated age relaxation. Only candidates who were born between February 2, 1994, and January 2, 2002, inclusive (both days included), may apply.

Preliminary RBI Assistant Exam Pattern

The Preliminary Examination, which has three sections—English, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning—is the first exam for RBI Assistant 2023. 0.25 marks will be deducted for mistakes. The RBI Assistant Prelims Exam lasts one hour (60 minutes), with 20 minutes allotted for each section, and the distribution of scores is shown in the table below.

Pattern of the RBI Assistant Mains Exam

Candidates who pass the RBI Assistant Preliminary Examination must take the RBI Assistant Main Examination. English, quantitative, reasoning, computer knowledge, and general awareness were the five categories. 0.25 marks will be deducted for mistakes. The time allotted for this phase is 135 minutes, which is divided into sections as shown in the table below.
